The Seller/Doers will be involved in client business development to sell and provide a variety of environmental and engineering services that support the siting, development, design, construction, and operation of transmission projects. Services may include but not limited to routing and siting, due diligence, project feasibility, natural and cultural resource evaluation, regulatory permitting, engineering studies and design. Our ideal candidates will have existing client relationships and a proven track record of winning work within the transmission market. Your Role:
Business Development:
* Work with existing Tetra Tech account managers, operations and market leads to expand existing client accounts.

Qualifications:
* Possess a Bachelor's degree but preferably a graduate degree in environmental sciences, urban/regional planning, environmental policy, environmental studies, engineering, and/or related field.
* Minimum of 10+ years of experience, with more experience preferred, with account management, business development, environmental assessments and federal, state, and local regulatory compliance/permitting in the US.
* Must have existing client relationships in the transmission market and a proven track record of winning new work.
* Working knowledge of all aspects of planning, permitting, design and construction related to transmission facilities.
* Strong working knowledge of state siting and permitting processes; experience with NEPA and FAST 41 a plus
* Proven success in providing on leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
* Efficient time management -handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
* Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational teambuilding skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.

Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to support our expanding business in Florida and throughout the Gulf Region. The position will also provide hydrogeology support to the Water Resources Business Line. This position is based out of Stantec's West Palm Beach office. The Hydrogeologist will report to a Hydrogeologist Team Leader and will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing hydrogeological investigations for dewatering, water supply, and aquifer recharge studies for water supply clients. This candidate also will be responsible for leading a large capacity production well design and construction projects. The successful candidate should have a background in drilling groundwater production wells, familiar with deep injection well construction, ability to oversee and support groundwater flow modeling, field investigations, conduct aquifer performance tests, project management, and technical report writing. This position interacts with both internal and external clients in field and office settings. The position requires travel to sites, primarily in the central Florida area. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary for the position.
Your Key Responsibilities

Develop new well designs for groundwater monitoring and groundwater production.
Design field investigations in support of hydrogeology studies including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight; groundwater sampling; and water level monitoring.
Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations and analytical results.
Prepare and deliver presentations of hydrogeologic investigations to internal and external clients.
Ability to mentor junior staff and provide input to improve hydrogeologic interpretations or client deliverables.
Assist project managers with developing project budgets, determining project scope, and establishing project schedules.
Excellent communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations (record of publications, project reports, and/or public presentations will be requested).
Ability to work independently and provide a supervisory role in the field at remote sites.
Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
Education and Experience
Minimum of an B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Hydrogeology/Geology/Geochemistry or related field is required.
Experience and/or course work completed in geology, hydrogeology, and production well design and construction, and aquifer test analysis is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Identifying the underground location and delineating and marking on the ground of existing utilities, per the requests from Sunshine State One Call, Vendor Project Supervisor, or FDOT Project Manager or designer.
The utility locates shall include, but not limited to, fiber optic cables, power cables, composite cables that constitute Department ITS underground utilities.
The utility locator shall also meet with Utility Locates Requesting Party as necessary in the field to supplement marking ITS utilities.
Whenever available, the utility locator shall assist the ITS Maintenance technician and electrician in performing the installing, maintaining, and repairing ITS devices.
The utility locator shall be able to respond to emergency utility locate ticket(s) as per requested by Vendor Project Supervisor and/or Department's Project Manager or designer.

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Technician to join our Fort Lauderdale Remediation team. You will work on a diverse range of projects delivering remediation system solutions to our key clients.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team. In addition, the successful candidate will be committed to the team's success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.
The role requires a strong mechanical and safety aptitude, and the candidate must have experience working with plumbing, electrical, and general construction related trades. Duties include (but will not be limited to) equipment maintenance coordination, remediation system maintenance, and environmental sampling activities. Although this is a field position that involves significant equipment maintenance and construction related activities, there will be direct interaction with clients and the candidate must have experience communicating with clients on a professional level.
This position will involve travel throughout Central and South Florida on a regular basis.
The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to the following:
Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.
May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.
Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.
Effective interaction with internal and external clients
Leading and participating in field meetings, possible oversight of subcontractors, contribute to and following safe work practices, developing/following/implementing safety plans on a day-to-day basis, recognizing hazards and documenting safety observations
Qualifications

Our West Palm Beach office has an opportunity for staff engineer to work on a wide range of geotechnical engineering, construction material testing/quality control, and environmental assessment projects including planning and supervising field and laboratory testing, conducting geotechnical analyses, developing design and construction recommendations, writing reports and performing site reconnaissance, field testing and monitoring. The goal for this position is for the right candidate to work primarily in the construction material testing/quality control department.
