Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.38 per hour; once cleared as a Volusia County Paramedic, an additional $3.77 will be added to the base pay. DEFINITION: This job/class works under general supervision primarily being a Lieutenant, the purpose of this position is to protect life and property from all hazards within the department skill sets.
Employees in this classification perform mainly EMS skills with limited fire/rescue duties as assigned and qualified for along with performing any other related work as directed.
