Basic Qualifications:

Summary/Objective:
The Trade Trainee Program at A.C.I. offers an entry-level employee the opportunity to train and learn one of the highest-demand trade positions in the construction industry! We will train each candidate in the basic skills necessary for one of the following trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Sheet Metal, Welding or Sprinkler. Ideal candidate will be working under the direct supervision of the Shop Fabrication and Modular Manager or Technician, as they perform a variety of day-to-day activities in an organized manner. Daily activities include organizing and preparing materials, installation of pipe or electrical components, unloading and loading materials, reading plans and specifications, and operating tools and machinery. Assists with daily tasks, as guided by experienced technicians. Training will prepare the entry-level employee for field work as needed.

Maintains equipment at the assigned water production facilities and booster stations.
Operates and maintains distribution systems including mains, valves, hydrants and service lines.

Troubleshoots and repairs service piping and other related equipment .
