Accidents can be scary, and our Auto Damage team rises to the occasion to provide unparalleled customer service when our customers need us the most. We're looking for Auto Damage Trainees in Washington DC who are motivated and ready to grow their careers to the next level with GEICO. Flexibility to work in different environments is also key, as our auto damage adjusters may work from their home, a body shop, a virtual estimating center, or even on the road.
Our industry-leading, paid training will teach you the ins and outs of automobile damage adjusting, so you can directly assist our customers after accidents or major disasters. We're looking for those who are equally motivated as they are compassionate. Your unique skillset, along with the latest auto-adjusting tools and tech, will help you:
Inspect and assess vehicle damage caused by all types of accidents
Estimate vehicle repair costs and negotiate equitable settlements
Partner with other adjusters and supervisors to work with body shops, rental partners, and parts providers.

Qualifications & Skills:
Valid driver's license (must meet company underwriting guidelines for at least the past 3 consecutive years) and the ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits
Willingness to be flexible with primary work location - position may require either remote or in-office work
Solid computer, mechanical aptitude, and multi-tasking skills
Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills
Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand on these abilities
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, college degree or currently pursuing preferred
Annual Salary
$32.05 - $50.36
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.

The Air Force Civilian Service is pleased to announce the Air Force Premier College Summer Intern Program. Students in their junior year of a full-time baccalaureate program will be able to apply for a full-time paid summer internship lasting 10-12 weeks during the summer session prior to their senior year. Any individual who meets the following may apply for the DHA Post-Secondary Student Program:
(1) Currently enrolled, and in good academic standing in a full-time program, at a public or other non-profit institution of higher education; AND
(2) Making satisfactory progress toward receipt of a baccalaureate; AND
(3) Completed at least one year of the degree program.
You may be non-competitively converted to a permanent appointment within the PALACE Acquire (PAQ)/Copper Cap (COP) or a similar Program. The target grade of the conversion could be above GS-11. However, it is important to remember that eligibility for conversion does not guarantee you will be offered a permanent position.

The Premier College Intern Program targets individuals who are seeking a dynamic career with the Air Force Civilian Service in a variety of career fields by gaining real-world experience. Diagnostic Imaging CT Trainee Job Responsibilities:
The Diagnostic Imaging Computed Tomography Trainee will complete an online certification program to help clinical specialists learn ARRT Cat Scan Structured Education to sit confidently for the CT registry. The certificate program will be paired with hands-on clinical hours teaching the students techniques and procedures vital to becoming a certified CT Technologist.
Assist in preparing Cat Scan equipment and examination rooms for procedures.
Perform basic Cat Scans under supervision, following protocols for various body parts and imaging techniques.
Safely administer starter IV, and correctly utilize the power injector for exams requiring IV contrast.
Monitor patients during scans and respond promptly to any patient concerns or issues.
Ensure accurate recording and labeling of images and patient data.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography
Experience: 1 year of clinical working experience or recent graduate of an accredited Radiography program
