Our Outside Sales Engineer is supporting our High Voltage Maintenance business. HVM is an electrical engineering and testing company providing comprehensive testing, maintenance, and engineering services to a variety of industries including utilities, data centers, renewable energy, commercial and industrial industries. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager covering the Cleveland area and will provide sales and technical support for all the selling resources in that area. The Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing key customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Make regular sales calls on existing accounts and establish relationships with new customers.
Make effective customer presentations.
Provide proposals or service contracts for HVM's services and repair work.
Coordinate and schedule work with Service Center Manager and with customers.
Promote sales through active participation in trade shows and professional societies.
Work with Business Administrator to develop weekly invoicing and monthly status reports.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical
Graduate of Electrical Technical School
Military certification with at least 3 years of directly related work experience will be held as equivalent to the educational requirement.

+ Exceed established revenue goals
+ Conduct inbound and/or outbound sales activity to identify, prospect to close and win new business
+ Respond to email inquiries and follow through with needs assessment to determine appropriate solutions

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
+ Minimum two years' experience in needs-based selling with a proven track record of success in increasing sales in a competitive marketplace

+ CRM sales management software experience with a leading platform, salesforce.com preferred

This co-op position is for students majoring in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or Engineering. This position provides an opportunity to learn the business of a premier commercial vehicle supplier from various perspectives within the company. A co-op in this role strongly interfaces with leadership and staff from Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, Finance, and Corporate Communications.
Job Responsibilities
•Conduct market analysis (original equipment and aftermarket)
• Research competitive profiles
•Conduct competitive and financial analysis
•Support Merger and Acquisition processes
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
•Currently attending an accredited college or university
•3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
•Proficient in understanding databases and analyzing data
•Can work cross-functionally
•Capacity to acquire new knowledge quickly and efficiently
• Resourceful and organized •Self-motivated and enthusiastic
