The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning activities in resident and patient homes, patient rooms, common areas, and administrative offices within the life plan community in accordance with the company standards and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that patient homes and/or the life plan community are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. Essential Activities and Tasks Operations Management - 75% Dusts furniture, tables, window ledges, lights, beds, high pipes, and other dusting. Empties and cleans waste cans and replaces liners in waste cans if present. Cleans and polishes tables, fixtures, furnishings, and woodwork. Cleans, washes, and disinfects bathroom sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and floors, and polishes chrome bathroom fixtures. Cleans windows and mirrors in bathrooms, entrance/exit ways, patio doors, etc. Cleans all floors and baseboards by disinfecting, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, waxing, buffing, etc. Vacuums carpets and carpeted stairways. Cleans walls and ceilings by wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, etc. Ensures that work area are clean (i.e. cart, car, and/or closet for supplies) and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are in proper working order. Ensures that an adequate supply of housekeeping and cleaning supplies are maintained. Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management - 10% Ensures that established quality assurance, infection control, and universal precaution practices are maintained when performing housekeeping procedures. For community employees, reports any damage or repairs to facilities, supplies, or equipment needing done to the supervisor. Willingly and consistently shares observations and insights of departmental operations that may improve quality and efficiencies of department. Attends all-employee and departmental meetings and in-service training as scheduled or as directed. Customer Relations and Service Delivery - 10% Listens and responds to resident, patient, and staff member needs. Honors resident and patient personal and property rights when performing housekeeping duties. Administration and Reporting - 5% Maintains current and accurate records through use of computers and/or other documentation in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Tenth grade education required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience One year of housekeeping experience preferred. On-the-job training provided. Knowledge of cleaning and general housekeeping methods and equipment preferred.     Are you a Master level, licensed Counselor/Social Worker looking for a new opportunity? CHC is looking for new members to join our team! CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. We are looking for Counselors/Therapists who will join us in our mission of helping those in our community and are specifically looking for staff to join our Residential, Adolescent, MAT, and Outpatient teams! Residential treatment is provided to our patients at RAMAR (the Rocco Antenucci Memorial Adult Residential Center). This residential facility is for men who are in need of intensive counseling and round-the-clock monitoring. Patients may enter RAMAR and receive individual and group counseling, medical services, transportation and other therapeutic activities. During their stay, patients develop self-management and recovery skills that help them rebuild their lives. We are looking for a Residential Counselor to provide direct service while the patients are staying at RAMAR. Counselors provide individual and group counseling by evaluating assessments for identified patients and their family members and based on findings, facilitating a timely and appropriate treatment plan, and coordinating said plan with available agency services and the community. CHC will provide your own private office, quality supervision, and ongoing training and CEUs. The Residential Counselor Position: Is Full time, 40 hours a week, generally Monday-Friday, but may include some weekends/evenings. Some positions may start as early as 5:30am. Offers paid time off after 6 months Pays a Competitive salary based on license Offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and retirement Duties include: Interview patients, coordinate assessment, summarize and evaluate problem areas and patient strengths, Develop treatment plan, complete appropriate case management and review as per agency procedures, Provide individual group, and or family counseling to assigned cases in accordance with the policies and procedures of CHC and the Code of Ethics, Completing thorough and concise documentation of each step of the patient's treatment, Participate and present patient cases weekly in clinical supervision meetings and seek additional professional consultation as needed..
