Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation: Greet visitors and assist them in identifying their flooring needs, style preferences, and budget.

Measuring & Estimating: Perform on-site measurements at customers' locations, create detailed estimates, and follow up to finalize sales.

Qualifications
Sales/Customer Service Experience: 1+ years in retail sales, design consultation, or a similar customer-facing role (flooring or construction knowledge is a plus).
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and address concerns in a positive, solution-oriented way.
Basic Math & Tech-Savvy: Comfort with basic math for accurate estimates, plus familiarity with computers, tablets, or POS systems.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Driver's License: Valid license required for occasional site visits and material transport.
Schedule Flexibility: Availability for weekday hours (Mon-Fri) and travel for measurements.

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ARS-Academic Resources department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
PURPOSE: As the Public Services Librarian, this position manages GTC Libraries' main desk, online chat, circulation services, and engagement activities and events. This Associate Librarian continuously collaborates with the Director, faculty, staff, and students at all GTC locations and online as well as the Greenville County community to ensure excellence in the Libraries' spaces, collections, and services.

DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT 15% - In collaboration with the Director, manage and continuously improve GTC Libraries' policies, procedures, communications, marketing, and training for circulation and resource sharing, patron accounts and billing, and public spaces and study rooms. Provide observations, analysis, assessment, reports, and suggestions for related strategic goals.
ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES & EVENTS 15% - Collaborate, coordinate, develop, and facilitate engagement activities and events such as campus tours, collection displays, book clubs, exhibits, presentations, film screenings, etc. Assist with creation, distribution, and maintenance of related marketing materials and communications. Coordinate, collect, correct, and communicate engagement activities and events data.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & SERVICE 10% - Complete all SACSCOC, GTC, and other required professional development. Serve on GTC, SCTCS, PASCAL, state, national, and global committees and working groups. Communicate and present work outside of the college as needed.
