The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Software Developer Intern to join our Dewar team in our Quincy, MA office located at 4 Batterymarch Park. The projected start date is early Spring of 2026, and the internship will last approximately 8-10 weeks. As a Software Developer Intern, you will work closely with our development team to support project management, development, and application administration tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in .Net, Angular, SQL, Power BI and more. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications using technologies such as .NET, Angular, and SQL. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field. Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or SQL. Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools (e.g., .NET, Angular, Visual Studio). Understanding of relational databases and basic data modeling concepts. Exposure to version control systems like GitHub or Git. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies and development practices. Preferred Qualifications: Prior internship, co-op, or project experience in software development or application support. Experience working with tools such as SSMS, Jira, Power BI, Power Automate, and GitHub. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management practices. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration concepts. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (a plus, but not required).
