Support the plant achieving budgeted labor efficiency MPO/UPMH. Provide technical support to ensure the factory is operating Safely, at the highest quality level and lowest possible cost. Participate in interplant cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems. Coach, counsel, and manage performance of direct reports. Responsible for communicating daily with all levels of employees to assist in resolving problems and achieving company goals. Prepare work schedules, assign work, and oversee the work product. Ability to manage multiple complex situations daily and deal with rapidly changing priorities. Leads by example and imposes all safety and operational procedures; promote and ensure a safe working environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards by coaching and guiding associates on safety procedures and maintain compliance with established policies and procedures. Qualifications BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required. 8+ years of experience in an Engineering Management role. 3+ years people management experience. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience is required. Experience with Industrial Automation is strongly preferred. Certification by ASQ as a CQE, CQA, or CQM considered highly desirable. Lean skills including Kaizen, Standardized Work, VSM and Six Sigma Green Belt is required, Black belt certification is a plus. Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and CMMS Strong data analysis skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and people management skills.
