About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you set the tone for the store and the team and help bring our brand to life for our customers. You're responsible for driving profitable sales growth through all aspects of the store including; customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You are responsible for supporting the execution of the store strategy to achieve performance goals. Through collaboration with your General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager, you will teach and coach behaviors to Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to cultivate a high performing team to deliver a best-in-class experience to our customers.

Who You Are
* A current or former retail employee with 1-3 years of retail management experience.
* A high school graduate or equivalent.
* A good communicator with the ability to effectively interact with customers and your team to meet goals.
* Passionate about retail and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
* Driven by metrics to deliver results to meet business goals.
* Determined to effectively lead and inspire others to learn and grow through coaching and mentoring.
* Agreeable to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
* Able to utilize retail technology. • Able to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 pounds.
* Ability to travel as required.

Hourly Range: $18.20 - $25.00 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.

StretchLab is seeking an experienced General/Sales Manager to oversee sales and operations at our StretchLab Studio.
Founded in 2015 in Venice, California, StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching. With Co-Founders coming from the Personal Training industry, Stretch Lab has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to Live Long. StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, pilates, and more and brought in the worlds leading authority on stretching and flexibility to deliver on the promise of having the finest team of stretching professionals gathered anywhere. StretchLabs proprietary Flexologist training ensures that their clients receive a world class stretching session. StretchLab currently has over 350+ locations open worldwide with vast growth.
POSITION:
The General/Sales Manager will be responsible for driving studio sales and memberships. This role is comprised of 80-90% sales and 10-20% staff management and studio operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years of fitness sales experience or membership sales preferred.
Confident in generating the majority of sales and training/coaching staff to sell
Ability to work weekdays/nights/weekends
Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner
Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email.
Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.

DUTIES
Lead generation through Grass Roots Marketing and Networking with businesses
Active outreach via phone calls/texts/emails and prospecting
Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts
Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
Train & supervise Sales Associates and Flexologists
Proficiency in ClubReady (CRM), to include time clock reports, payroll reports, etc.
Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
Collect outstanding dues
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the StretchLab studio
Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures
Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
Any other duties as assigned

General Responsibilities:
* Assist the General Manager with the efficient and effective management of the facility and managing the location in the absence of the General Manager
* Provide excellent customer service and effectively manage employees during absence of manager, including addressing employee relations issues
* Manage expenses, merchandizing, profits and losses to ensure the financial stability of the operation; banking and completing DSR and shift analysis reports
* Conduct competitor surveys at the direction of management using personal vehicle
* Available to work any day and any shift as required.
Qualifications/Experience/Education:
* Customer service, leadership, & basic computer skills
* Retail experience is a plus but not required (we will train you!)
* Valid driver's license is required to perform banking responsibilities and to conduct competitor surveys. Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance is required
* Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and operate a dolly/handcart for heavier items
* Previous customer service experience is a plus
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, or equivalent experience.
