    The Community Family Intervention provider, as a member of the Outpatient Family Services Team is responsible for providing intervention services to children and families. These services may be provided in various locations both internal and external to the organization and is driven by the clinical needs of the entire family unit. Services include, but are not limited to: individual, group and family intervention, crisis intervention, prevention consultation and education, and linkage to needed community resources. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILIES Contributes to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for our clients, colleagues and community partners from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Integrates principles of Trauma Informed Care in all aspects of work. Is sensitive to the children's culture and socioeconomic characteristics that delivers the best possible care to the youth and families served. Provide case management (advocacy, monitoring and linkage services) to children and families participating in the program. Provide prevention, consultation, and education services to school staff, youth, and families. Assist in the management of crisis situations with the exclusion of restraint. Assist students and their families with social, emotional, education adjustment and development. Provide billed services at a minimum of 100% of the stated Agency expectation on a monthly basis. Transport clients and family members occasionally on an as-needed basis. Maintain accurate documentation of direct and indirect services provided in accordance with ODMH, ADAMH, and agency standards. Gather statistical and research information to be used for outcome purposes. Participate in staff and team meetings for the schools and agency, staff development and in-service training, planning interventions and regular supervisory conferences. Bilingual (English/ Spanish). Fluent in both spoken and written communication for both languages. Knowledgeable of community resources that can support individuals in the Hispanic/ Latino community. Able to demonstrate cultural competency as it relates to working with individuals from different Hispanic or Latino cultural backgrounds. Other duties as assigned or requested. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling, or other related discipline is required. Minimum of two years of experience working with children and families preferred. Rendering Provider number required based on level of licensure. National Provider Identification number required. Excel, Word, Outlook, MapQuest and phone skills needed. Valid Driver's License and Proof of Auto Liability Insurance with required limits needed. REASONING ABILITY Ability to maintain high degree of empathy and compassion in meeting the needs of agency clients and client families.
