The Collings Foundation is a non-profit, Educational Foundation (501c-3), founded in 1979.
In 1986, because of rapid growth, OHF/TWKĀ became a national organisation.
The Open Home Foundation of New Zealand is a Child and Family Support Service that works within the provisions of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989.
Since 1991, a separate Open Home Foundation International organisation has developed training and educational partnerships to support children and their families in India, Romania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia and other countries.
