What you will do
The Maintenance Technician has three main responsibilities:
* Vibration route data collection, analysis, and reporting
* Vibration monitoring system maintenance and management
* Trouble calls, quality assurance checks after equipment maintenance actions, and follow-up checks on vibration monitoring system alarms.
A Technician's typical day involves several hours of data collection in the mill in various environments either inside or outdoors, followed by several hours of data analysis and reporting. Conditions during data collection may range from cold to hot & humid environments. * Assist in the preparation of engineering-related documents accurately and timely, including narrative, technical, and statistical reports derived from typed, automated, or handwritten sources. * Possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in collecting, reviewing, and analyzing historical and current maintenance data, including logistics needs from aircraft carrier Current Ship's Maintenance Projects (CSMPs), CASREPs, Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) reports, Occupational and Readiness Standards (OaRS), Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM), Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy (DRRS-N), Non-Destructive Examination (NDE), in-house databases, inspection reports, visit reports, and other relevant data sources. Use this data to develop statistical, graphical, and textual analyses of equipment reliability, maintenance trends, and operational readiness.
* A minimum of five (5) years of experience assisting or coordinating Inspection, Certification, Assessment, and Verification (ICAV) events is required to develop a comprehensive understanding of the operational readiness of aircraft carrier equipment and systems maintenance plans and programs.
* Experience in assisting or conducting ICAV events to gain comprehensive working knowledge of aircraft carrier operational readiness, maintenance plans, and programs is mandatory.
* Provide oversight for the creation, quality control, processing, and transmission of maintenance data. Demonstrate knowledge of coordinator operations, including call routing and management technologies across multiple communication platforms (web, chat, email, social media, SMS/text, mobile, fax, phone, and mail). Summarize events weekly into executive summaries and monthly reports.
