Create, maintain, and update a secure, confidential computer database on all patients under research investigation. Obtain, copy, mail, maintain files of films, charts, and information on protocol patients. Ensure compliance/adherence to the Sponsor and MCW's policies, requirements, legal contracts, and HIPAA regulations.
Provide administrative and clerical support within CAPS. Assist the PIs in writing and presenting research reports, grant protocols, conducting literature searches and pulling articles from the library, drafting manuscripts and facilitating submission of manuscripts to scientific journals. Coordinate/perform/assist with the reporting and communications with the IRB, government agencies, and study sponsor regarding adverse effects, study implementation, study renewal, study termination, and other activities necessary for exceptional performance from inception to close.
Facilitate communications between funding agencies, institution administrators, and researchers.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the status of current studies. Review, evaluate, and report to PI on a regular basis. Discuss with PI and report any Adverse Event per study protocol. Prepare abstracts, posters and presentations for scientific meetings.
Work with community partners of the Center, assisting health educators in providing health education to community sites, establishing community partnerships, and working with designated community sites to advance the research, education and training mission of the Center. Assist summer student trainees at the Center. Work with trainees year-round and summer students (including, high school, college and medical students) during their summer experience. Assist students with data collection, data entry, and provide guidance on research related issues.

Vehicle is required as you will be traveling throughout the community.

POSITION OVERVIEW Responsible for overseeing the delivery of direct services to TLP clients; supervising TLP staff; maintaining program records; ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall condition of the facility; managing supplies and equipment; and participating in program planning and implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
DIRECT SERVICES
Coordinate implementation of the TLP Program Plan and related staff training in accordance with agency policies.
Supervise staff-client interactions and provide coaching or supplemental training as needed.
Coordinate client interventions related to milieu, facility, peer, or staff concerns.
Ensure coordination of resources and transportation for medical, mental health, education, employment, and visitation needs.
Support implementation of independent living skills through individual support and group programming.
Monitor client safety and well-being, including awareness of client whereabouts, curfew compliance, and timely response to safety concerns in accordance with program policies.
VOCATIONAL DUTIES
Oversee implementation and documentation of client vocational action plans.

ACCOUNTABILITY
The Transitional Living ProgramCoordinator shall be supervised by and is accountable to the Residential Supervisor.
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT Hours and days shall be scheduled according to the needs of the program. The primary hours of the coordinator will be 40 hours per week; 9am-5pm.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 25 years of age in accordance with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services Licensing Standards for Transitional Living Programs.
Undergraduate Degree in Human Services from an accredited school with a minimum of two years of residential experience with two years supervisory experience required.
Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of Shelter's mission, vision, and values.
Must have a valid Illinois driver's license, automobile, and must submit proof of Illinois auto insurance.

Advocate for youth and young adults in various settings, such as home, educational, court, and community settings.
Work with children, families, and young adults to develop an Individualized Recovery Plan (IRP) based on identified strengths and needs, including a detailed progressive reactive crisis plan.
Act as a liaison between children, families, young adults, and the community.
Monitor and negotiate the delivery of services and agreements with children, families, young adults, and their teams. This includes modifying Individualized Recovery Plans as needed and obtaining new authorizations for services or discontinuing existing services.
Please contribute to the program's resource development by identifying new community resources available to our clients and staff to improve the program.
Participate in efforts to promote Lad Lake and the CCS Program and contribute to their development.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: A bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or criminal justice is required.
