Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Project Controls Manager to join our team in the Port Arthur, TX area. This position manages planning, scheduling, cost estimates, cost analysis and reporting on construction/maintenance or turnaround projects. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Project Controls Director and/or Project Manager; Establishes procedures for specific goals in a broad area of work / only results are reviewed / develops procedures within limits of policy and guidelines.
Functional Requirements:
Manage standardized Project Controls procedures, systems, and tools (including WBS, cost coding, and reporting structures); analyze and report KPI driven metrics for site leadership intervention; understand contract terms, conditions and manage compliance; manage and monitor project budget and cost expenditures; perform forecasting, variance analysis, and earned value management; direct the development and maintenance of integrated master schedules (utilizing Primavera P6 or similar software); prepare and present comprehensive monthly/weekly Project Controls reports to project teams, senior management, and clients utilizing interactive dashboards through Power BI; will be expected to adapt to Turner Industries standard operating procedures in Project Controls using Turner's applications; produce job estimates and plans, CPM based schedules, performance reports and graphs and analysis of the same; breakdown estimates information into Turner Industries code of accounts and create budgets; capture actual or accrued cost information both internal and external to TIL; analyze, trend, forecast and report on the same; interface with site supervision and superintendent, owner/client, and home office contacts on matters relating to project scope, schedule, progress and performance; responsible for assisting in training upcoming Project Controls Analysts in a "Boot-Camp" which will be scheduled on an as-needed basis; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Project Controls, with a strong focus on cost control and scheduling
Minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
Direct experience working on petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial maintenance and turnaround projects
Efficiency in Power BI dashboard utilization (or other similar applications)
Knowledge in Primavera P6 and other progressing tools
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Compensation

Job Summary:
The Project Manager will work closely with the President of Maddox Industrial Group (MIG) and the TransTech Leadership Team to replicate MIG's capabilities in the Gulf Coast region, while using our current Beaumont, TX facility as a home base.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage the workflow for multiple projects simultaneously.
· Execute deliverables throughout the lifecycle of projects which include, but not limited to, scope definition, proposal definition, and project execution.
· Provide timely updates to customers and key stakeholders.
· Manage project schedule, documentation, budgets, and labor hours.
· Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs.
· Work with Foremen/Superintendents to plan, assign, and monitor work responsibilities for field crews, and maintain MIG's quality standards.
· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
· Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
· Work with internal team to source and manage materials and outside contractors as required for projects.
· Verify punch list items at project completion and complete turn over package.
· Work with the finance team to invoice on a timely basis, process and manage change orders, and assist with collections when necessary.
· Performs other duties as assigned
Competencies:
· 5 years+ experience managing construction projects or 10 years of field experience.
· Proven ability to collaborate with other team members, engineers, subcontractors, and customers with minimal oversight.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

· A working knowledge of ASME B31.3/31.1 welding procedures and API guidelines

What You'll Be Doing
