The Environmental Consulting ProjectManager is responsible for leading and managing environmental projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental regulations, technical expertise in assessments and permitting, and excellent projectmanagement skills to drive successful outcomes.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Lead environmental consulting projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and proactively addressing challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including scientists, engineers, and field technicians, to achieve project goals.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication and strong relationships.
Prepare and present proposals, progress reports, and final project documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Monitor project budgets, identify potential cost overruns, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with at least 2 years in a projectmanagement role. Preferred Skill Set: Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, with at least 2 years in a projectmanagement role.
