In 1812 was founded the San Carlo Dancing School, the most ancient in Italy, that was made great by artists like Pietro Hus, Salvatore Taglioni, Bianca Gallizia, Anna Razzi.
On February 13 of 1816, a fire ravaged the Teatro di San Carlo and basically destroyed the entire structure.
The theater opened in 1737 and became a cornerstone of Neapolitan identity until it burnt down in 1816.
His son, Don Luis (Presidente from 1822-25) was the first native-born governor to serve under Mexican rule.

With the archbishop's decree of February 1, 1993, Father Mario Ferrario was appointed parish priest of Saint Charles Church, which was careful for the first ten years.
Celebrities, sporting stars and loyal diners made San Carlo their restaurant of choice and soon Carlo had a success on his hands, Bristol opened in 1996, Leicester in the late 90’s and then Manchester, which has gone on to become possibly the highest profile, busiest restaurant outside of London.
