Yellowstone Club's Outdoor Pursuits Kids (OPK) department is currently seeking candidates for a Childcare Counselor.
This position is responsible for overseeing and caring for children in the OP Kids Program. It is necessary for counselors to show leadership through the development and implementation of activities during their scheduled shifts. OP Kids Counselors need to be comfortable working with kids of all ages, 1 year and up.
The purpose of the Childcare Counselor is to provide care and instruction to young members of all ages (primarily 12 months to 5 years).
Responsibilities Include:
Interact with children, staff, parents, and Members in a professional and caring manner.
Develop and implement lesson and activity plans for kids in the program.
Promote the Yellowstone Club's childcare activities.
Perform appropriate care for children in the facility.
Assist families in filling out appropriate departmental forms.
Field activity questions about the department appropriately.
Work closely with Outdoor Pursuits Managers/Supervisors and other departments on providing effective communication, planning, and organization to ensure all activity needs are met.
Perform opening and closing duties as necessary.
Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
Aid in the season set-up and tear-down of the department area.
Assist as a Recreational Facility Attendant in the indoor 20 Below recreation center.
Participate and assist with Yellowstone Club events even if the event does not directly relate to the OP Kids Program.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or vocational training
1+ years' experience in childcare for children ages 12 months and above
2 years' experience of customer service
Bachelor's Degree preferred
The positions offered is a full-time, seasonal position located in Big Sky, MT.

Purpose
To provide, as a member of the counseling department staff, a comprehensive counseling program for students in grades Kindergarten (K) through fourth (4) and specifically provide services to meet the needs of assigned students; consult with teachers, staff and parents to enhance effectiveness in helping students; and to provide support to other school educational programs.
Essential Job Duties
Implement the elementary school guidance curriculum through delivery of classroom units and infusion in content areas.
Guide individuals and groups of students through the development of educational plans.

Counsel individuals and small groups of students with problems.
Consult with teachers, staff and parents regarding the developmental needs of students.
Refer students with problems to appropriate program specialists or community agencies.
Participate in, coordinate and conduct activities that contribute to the effective operation of the counseling program and school.
Participate in and facilitate the intervention team process.
Plan and evaluate the building counseling program.
Works collaboratively with other counselors and counseling staff; and works cooperatively with other school and district staff.

Successful experience working with elementary school students.
Successful counseling experience in a K-12 system.
Necessary special requirements:
Montana Driver's license or the ability to obtain license within three months of hire date.
