About the Position We are looking for a Residential Associate to join our team at our Twin Pines RTF program in Central Point, Oregon! Residential Associates work as members of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness. Their primary responsibilities include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping and meal preparation, administering medication, and keeping accurate clinical documentation. If you have experience working as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client with behavioral health needs, then this position may be a great fit for you! Vocational Training Program For applicants starting as a QMHA-R, ColumbiaCare offers a Vocational Training Program to accelerate the training, on-the-job experiential learning, and testing preparation for qualified employees to achieve the 1000 supervised hours required to complete their certification as a QMHA-I. Through this program, this certification can be achieved in as little as 6 months. This is an optional program. Utilizes supervision and feedback techniques with BAI's during sessions and one-on-one supervision sessions. Ensures all supervision is documented in EHR in timely manner. Conducts frequent integrity assessments to ensure fidelity of implementation on all treatment plans. Completes BIP updates no more frequently than every six months, which identify the medical appropriateness and/or emergence of new problem behaviors that require continued ABA services. Conducts weekly consultation visits per ABA guidelines; monitors data collection procedures and the results of the treatment plan (i.e. reduction in target behaviors and increase in replacement behavior). Ensures paperwork (Incident Reports, Progress Notes, and Behavior Intervention Plans) is filled out correctly per the requirements of the organization's policies. Responsibilities 1. Performs entry level work in the development and maintenance of computerized information systems, online information systems, networks and servers. Diagnoses and resolves network problems and server management issues. 2. Coordinates and participates in the planning, development and use of the CWS/CARES automation systems and services with Karuk IT and The California Department of Social Services IT and Integration, including hardware maintenance and the updating of software; installs and integrates personal computer software and hardware. 3. Assists CWS staff in time study form creation, compilation, and provides to the fiscal department in order to track areas of work that qualify for specific funding provided by grants. 4. With guidance, analyzes, specifies, designs and tests new application systems to meet program needs. 5. Assists in the interpretations of Tribal, State, and Federal regulations to determine impact on assigned system functions and develops system modifications to ensure compliance with regulations. 6. Learns and implement applicable regulations, laws and policies that govern use of the State's child welfare information system. 7. Creates reports on other IT information in the format requested by CDSS from its child welfare information system, CWS/CMS and CARES as well as TAS, used by the Karuk Tribe. 8. Monitors the Tribe's data protection as outlined in the Data Sharing Addendum between the Karuk Tribe and the California Department of Social Services. 9. Serves as the liaison to the California Department of Social Services Systems Coordinator. 10. Participates in developing, implementing, and coordinating operating policies and procedures related to the Program's automated system. 11. Consults with and advises staff and users on technical problems, legal and system requirements, and tribal policies & procedures that impact operation of the computer system; solves system problems using available resources such as data processing or improved manual methods; tracks reported problems through resolution. 12. Authorizes system access to users. 13. Monitors the system performance and assists with performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features. 14. Develops, generates and distributes IT reports. 15. Tracks and coordinates new computer/electronic equipment purchases, and equipment maintenance and repair requests. 16. Provides technical assistance to all staff with help from CDSS and the Karuk IT Department. 17. Coordinates with the Karuk IT Department for hardware purchases, network management, and server management. 18. Adheres to Tribe's and Program's confidentiality and personnel policies. 19. Additional Qualifications 1. Knowledge of the principles, procedures, techniques, nomenclature, and operation of computer systems. 2. Working knowledge of and ability to maintain computer equipment, Computer equipment maintenance procedures, hardware configurations, and operating principles. 3. Capabilities, limitations, characteristics, and uses of computer information systems, related hardware, various software application programs, and operating systems. 4. Knowledge of training methods and techniques, including interpreting automated information systems. 5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Native American youth and family members in culturally diverse environments. Requirements 1. Experience with computer software installation, hardware installation, maintenance and repair, and networking experience. 2. Demonstrated analytic skills including use of statistical methods, with strong writing, problem solving and communication skills. Experience that indicates the ability to interact effectively with leaders among Native American communities, government agencies, scientific and academic communities, medical and healthrelated organizations, non-governmental groups and the public at large is required. 3. Basic understanding of Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS). Training can be provided within first 6 months of employment. 4. Must provide documentation of immunity to measles, and rubella, hepatitis B or become vaccinated with the recommended vaccine, test for Tuberculosis (TB) as US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends, and annual influenza vaccine. Must have an annual health examination. 5. Must adhere to required pre-employment background check, crim check and FBI fingerprints. Additionally: Investigation of character as required by the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Act (ICPFVP). The minimum standards require an investigation that shall include: a check of fingerprint files of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and to appropriate local law enforcement agencies. The applicant must not have been found guilty of, or entered a plea of no contender or guilty plea to any felonious offenses or two or more misdemeanor offense under Federal, State, or Tribal law involving crimes of violence; sexual assault, molestation, exploitation, contact or prostitution; crimes against persons; an offense committed against children. 6. Must be a self-starter, well organized, and willing to learn new skills. 7. Must possess valid driver's license, good driving record, and be insurable by the Tribe's insurance carrier. 8. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test. 9. Must adhere to required pre-employment background check, crimcheck and FBI fingerprints.
