Mr. Hall has been Chief Executive Officer and a director since August 2004. Prior to joining Gartner, he was a senior executive at Automatic Data Processing (ADP), a Fortune 500 global technology and service company, serving most recently as President, Employers Services Major Accounts Division, a provider of human resources and payroll services. With extensive experience serving technology markets, Mark has a proven track record of advancing growth initiatives related to cloud, SaaS, mobile, big data, and IoT solutions. Prior to joining Nuance, Mark served as president and chief operating officer of NCR Corporation, where he oversaw sales, solutions management, business and product development, services and supply chain operations. Luc Seraphin is president and chief executive officer and has served as a member of our Board of Directors since October 2018. Prior to this role, Luc was the senior vice president and general manager of the Memory and Interface Division, leading the development of the company’s innovative memory architectures and high-speed serial link solutions. Luc also served as the senior vice president of Worldwide Sales and Operations where he oversaw sales, business development, customer support and operations across the various business units within Rambus. Luc started his career as a field application engineer at NEC and later joined AT&T Bell Labs, which became Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems (now Avago Technologies). During his 18 years at Avago, Luc held several senior positions in sales, marketing and general management, culminating in his last position as executive vice president and general manager of the Wireless Business Unit. Following this, Luc held the position of general manager of a GPS startup company in Switzerland and was vice president of Worldwide Sales and Support at Sequans Communications. During his career, Luc has advised and supported companies in both the product and IP markets. Luc holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Superieure de Chimie, Physique, Electronique, based in Lyon, France where he majored in Computer Architecture. Luc also holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and has completed the senior executive program of Columbia University.

Today, as president and chief executive officer, Alan leads a dedicated team of nearly 5,000 employees that handle 30% of the natural gas in the United States used every day to heat our homes, cook our food and generate our electricity. Williams works closely with customers to provide the necessary infrastructure to serve growing markets and safely deliver natural gas products to reliably fuel the clean energy economy. As one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in the U.S., Williams has led the midstream space in meeting the growing demand for American-made energy while outlining practical and immediate steps toward a clean energy future by setting a goal of 56% absolute reduction in company-wide GHG emissions by 2030.Alan is a well-known speaker and respected panelist at energy conferences and seminars, as well as philanthropic and corporate events. He serves on the board of directors of the American Petroleum Institute and is a member of the National Petroleum Council, where he most recently chaired the Council’s 2019 Energy Infrastructure Study. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable. Additionally, Alan serves on the boards of several education-focused organizations including as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Oklahoma Foundation, Junior Achievement, USA and 3DE. He is a member of the boards of The Williams Foundation and Gilcrease Museum, as well as a member of the Distinguished Graduates Society of the Gallogly College of Engineering, University of Oklahoma.Alan lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a proud Sooner with a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
