The ideal candidate will reside within this area. We're Looking For: A Title Clerk who acts as a support partner by verifying and processing all incoming titles. The Title Clerk is responsible for ensuring all titles are processed and verifi ed accurately, effi ciently, and effectively by following correct policies and procedures. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are always followed. The Title Clerk collaborates with various departments and has no direct reports. What You'll Do: * Performs data entry, and inputs title information into the system. * Verifies payment status. * Checks vehicle titles and/or supporting documentation for accuracy ensuring the title is acceptable under state law by the buyer and does not contain any alterations. * Re-assigns title and provides supporting documentation based on confirmations of sale for large consignors as well as dealer-to-dealer transactions. * Scans titles into electronic format. * Creates shipping labels, packages, and seals, and sends titles to buyers daily via Federal Express. * Ensures titles are delivered to the correct purchasing dealer and/or buyer. * Responsible for running title reports and assisting with title inquiry emails. * Files titles that are awaiting payment into a secured fi reproof title cabinet. Assists Coordinators/Leads with reporting, audits, title updates, and/or phone calls. * Other projects and tasks as assigned.
