This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

About the role
We are currently seeking traveling team members for our stream restoration and monitoring crew! The restoration crews travel in teams of 5-10 people building and monitoring low-tech process-based restoration (LTPBR) structures. These structures will include Beaver Dam Analogs and Post-Assisted Log Structures. Restoration crews will spend their season outdoors; living and working in remote locations throughout the west.
Field life is rugged and rewarding. Crew members will be living in remote locations - often with limited amenities. Crews will meet at job sites or other pre-determined locations before each hitch, and should primarily expect to camp at each worksite. However, Anabranch will provide travel trailers, short-term rental housing, or hotel stays when possible, location dependent. Accommodations are typically dorm-style living with communal meal prep, shared kitchens, and shared sleeping quarters. Teams will travel often - generally moving to a new project site for each hitch.
Work schedules are typically eight 10-hour shifts followed by six days off. Sometimes hitch schedules may be adjusted to four 10-hour shifts followed by three days off, or five 8-hour shifts followed by two days off when necessary. All necessary camping gear (other than sleeping bags) as well as all necessary safety gear, waders, and wading boots will be provided. Additionally, per diem is afforded to the group for family-style grocery shopping and meal preparation.
What you'll do
The primary job duties are to locally acquire natural building materials (e.g., brush, woody debris, & rock), stage said materials, and construct beaver dam analogs (BDAs), post-assisted log structures (PALS), and other low-tech structures for riverscape restoration projects. Constructing BDAs and PALS entails cutting and hauling slash to degraded streams, constructing in stream structures, and pounding posts via hydraulic post pounder to lock everything in place. Construction utilizes a variety of tools, including but not limited to: hand tools, chainsaws, grip hoists, hydraulic post pounders, ATV/UTVs, trailers, and more.

Safely load and unload specified liquids and powder into a variety of vessels and equipment as directed by batch sheets (recipes) and standard operating procedures.
Keep detailed production records based on your assigned chemistry by following established best practices for documentation.
Maintain an organized workspace to avoid trip hazards, create a potential for spill or release of materials, or mistake material selections.
Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to prepare for an assigned chemistry or breakdown and re-stock unneeded equipment and supplies.
Follow specific and detailed standard operating procedures to comply with our high standards for safety and quality.
Perform in-process testing (IPT) using specialized instrumentation to monitor and inform the progress of various chemistry steps.
Monitor and analyze equipment using a computerized control system and process activity to accurately document process conditions to ensure we meet the industry's highest standards.
Work as a part of a responsible, self-directed team with a dedicated supervisory leader.
Due to 24/7 production, communication of production progress on your assigned area and/or chemistry to the oncoming shift and shift handover is paramount.
Safely 'don' and 'doff' all required Personal Protective Equipment.
Pay Structure:
Starting pay is $25.00 per hour.
After 90 days on the team and completion of the 90-day training list, team members will be eligible for a $1.00 increase, $26.00 per hour. Opportunity to earn a minimum of $60,650 in your first year with the team!
After 12 months on the team and completion of the 12-month training list, team members will be eligible for a $2.00 increase, $28.00 per hour. Opportunity to earn a minimum of $66,250 in your second year with the team!
After a year of service and a fully signed-off training list, team members become eligible to be nominated for lead roles. Successful completion of a lead role will carry an additional $2.00 per hour increase to $30.00/hr.
Schedule:
Schedule is made a year in advance, so you'll know every day you are working for the entire year!
12-hour shifts, 2 hours overtime guaranteed each shift.
3-4 days off each week.
10% night shift premium pay.

Peterson Cat has a need for a Commercial Engine FieldTechnician based out of our Redmond, OR location.
SUMMARY
This position performs Powerwatch services/maintenance on Power Generation, Marine, and Industrial Systems in the field.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules.
Work in a manner consistent with Contamination Control Guidelines
Communicate with internal and external customers in a manner that promotes a positive relationship.
Work overtime as needed within labor law guidelines.
Frequent travel is needed to meet customer service requirements including overnight stays.
Be on call to respond to customer service needs during the evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Perform the following service operations with occasional supervision:
Perform Maintenance on Generator Packages, Industrial Engine Packages, EPG Systems, and Marine Packages not limited to Caterpillar products.
Perform Load Bank Testing
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
Assist fieldtechnicians as required.
Perform detailed inspections on EPG products and systems.
Write service reports that accurately document activities, issues, and up-sell opportunities.
Prepare required documentation including work orders, parts lists, and timecards in an accurate and timely manner to enable other employees to do their job in a timely manner.
Solicit information regarding opportunities for generator system sales and service and pass information to generator systems sales staff and engine PSSR or ISR in a timely manner.
Ensure assigned company vehicle maintains a clean professional appearance and is in proper working order.
Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
Follow manufacturer and company service guidelines and procedures to ensure quality work and to preserve and document component failure information for accurate failure analysis.
Perform work and conduct yourself in a matter that is consistent with company goals, mission statement, and core values.
Operate company or personal vehicle as needed to visit branch locations or customers.
Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to obtain lift truck certificate.
Completion of a certified electrical safety course
Completion of ISR and PSSR Sales Certification through CAT DPC
Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
