POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on all types of trucks and/or equipment to maximize safe and productive operations on site at customer's locations. Understand fundamentals of wireless design tools as well as network monitoring tools such as Radio Admin, cn Maestro and IMS.
Installation of field networking and automation equipment, including routers, switches, media converters and POE injectors.

Work with engineers over the phone to troubleshoot and configure routers and switches through CLI.

As a primary duty, the Panel Shop Technician I is responsible for the construction of quality UL397, UL397A, UL508A, UL698A, and UL891 panels. Basic Functions As a primary duty, the Panel Shop Technician I is responsible for the construction of quality UL397, UL397A, UL508A, UL698A, and UL891 panels. To this end, the Panel Shop Technician I is expected to heed the feedback provided through the Quality Management System (QMS) and supervision. The QMS promotes continuous improvement in the manufacturing process and refinement of technician "Craftmanship," an Expanse core value. The constructed panels must conform to customer, Underwriter's Laboratories (UL), National Electric Code (NEC), and company standards.
Other duties the Panel Shop Technician I are expected to perform include moving parts and finished products, preparing and packaging products for shipment, delivering finished panels to local customers, pickup of parts and material from local vendors, participating in training as required, work 3S (sweep, sort, and standardize) improvements and maintenance, champion LEAN initiatives as personally or supervisor identified, and perform field non-energized warranty repairs as required.

Responsibilities

* Know the eight wastes and work to reduce and or eliminate the wastes within the constructs of the Panel Shop's business strategy.

* Build and wire control panels according to CAD, E-Plan, or other schematics and associated bill of materials (BOM).
* General duties will include assembly of control panels and enclosures, mounting components on panels, wire cutting, stripping, soldering, crimping, and performing a self QC checklist prior to submitting finished product to quality.
* Mark schematics with redlines and other colors/symbols per engineering policy.

Overview:
Performs moderately complex customer support activities on gas compression and/or rotating equipment inside customer plants and in the field under general supervision
Requirements:
Performs moderately complex maintenance, repair and other activities on multiple OEM compression/rotating equipment with minimal supervision
Using detailed company guidelines and general supervision, performs on-site preventative maintenance clearance checks (does not include bearing checks and web deflection), routine repair, and applying torque sequence to fasteners
Assists higher level technicians with on-site general installations and emergency repairs
Refers more complex problems to higher level technicians
Demonstrates proficiency in order to perform quality, efficient work with minimal call backs
Follows & possesses working knowledge of established health, safety and environmental procedures
