About The Navys Advanced Electronics / Computer Field (AECF) offers extensive training in electronics, computer systems, radar, communications, and weapons fire control systems, including the Navys advanced missile systems and Aegis radar. DEPARTMENT: Service REPORTS TO: Service Manager JOB SUMMARY: This position performs basic to more complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment. This position requires a proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment. Direction or guidance may be required from the Service Manager or senior technicians. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform basic to more complex service job tasks as assigned. Perform routine maintenance checks servicing fuel, power train, electrical & hydraulic systems to ensure peak performance, safety, and longevity of the equipment. Participate in Service training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge of Deere products. Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. Maintain the condition of service vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment. Maintain a clean work area and perform job tasks in a neat and orderly fashion. Follow all safety rules and procedures and participate in safety meetings and training. Account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
