Care Field Services analysts provide on-site IT support for providers and practice managers in a clinical workspace operating as the face for IT.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site escalation point of contact for clinicians seeking technical assistance on-site
Must be willing and able to travel on-site to provide IT Support within a 50-mile radius
Perform on-site troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Provide effective communication with the customers
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support
Log and record issues and resolutions
Participate in On-Call rotation to Provide After-hours support
Install workstations, printers, phone and fax machines, computers and appropriate software applications and ensure that all are in good working condition
Provide technical expertise/training to end-users as needed to resolve equipment or software issues
Diagnose, Troubleshoot and Resolve a wide variety and range of hardware and software related problems with operating systems, applications (including vendor software packages), and network configuration; replacing parts as required
Prioritize and manage heavy workload in a dynamic and diverse environment
Work with minimal direction but remain focused on critical and priority items
Adapt to new technologies, process new information and help customers through technological changes. Improves and implements procedures as needed and/or assigned
Coordinate new access needs and security changes. This will include coordination with internal IT leadership to establish system access and communicate back to user with relevant user ID and password information
Direct the activities of outside contract resources to support hardware installations and/or repair as necessary
Assure necessary security of all IT assets. This will include physical security of equipment, data, and software, as well as assuring appropriate backup of data and programs
Complete and maintain an inventory process to track new and old equipment and software
Ensure that all assets are properly tracked and documented for management audit and legal purposes
Improves and implements procedures as needed and/or assigned. Consistently works to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with all internal and external customers
Supports the vision and values of Optum and abides by all policies and procedures
Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation
Collaboration:
Work with other departments to resolve issues for internal staff and external clients
Follow-up and update customers with status and information
Liaise with leadership and vendors for implementation of new process and workflow
Manage escalations from the Help Desk to ensure timely resolution
Perform hands-on fixes, including software and hardware installations
Maintain a knowledge base for problem resolution
Assess and recommend system reconfigurations based on trends
Perform end-user training

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
2+ years of full-time work experience in Information Technology
2+ years of experience with providing IT Desktop Support
2+ years of experience installing software applications and performing hardware upgrades on desktop computers within a business environment as well as server infrastructure
2+ years of experience installing and supporting networked devices such as printers and scanners
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products, Windows Operating System, backup software applications, Cisco Hardware and Software, Microsoft SharePoint technologies and HP hardware platforms along with other related technical skills
Access to reliable transportation & a valid US driver's license

Illustrative Duties

* Responsible for the daily operation of EMS System Status Management role occasionally limited direct supervision.
* Answers incoming radio calls and answers requests from field units, conducts appropriate computerized searches or related services on behalf of field units, communicates via mobile data terminal (MDT), and makes entries into EMS computerized records systems as directed.
* Records information (incoming and outgoing messages) obtained via telephone and/or other sources (computer) from the EMS units on the appropriate forms and/or databases.
* Coordinates daily deployment of ambulances with the assigned program.
* Monitors and provide feedback to enhance the improvement of the System Status Management program as well as the MARV LIS deployment software used by EMS.
* Tracks EMS units logged in and available for calls; communicates with units to ensure optimal delivery and availability for the next call, confirms all units are showing in CAD.
* Follows the System Status Management posting plan for EMS to provide EMS coverage by deploying Volusia County EMS units within the dynamic system. Assigns VCEMS units to posting locations based on unit availability. call demand, human factors, and software recommendations to optimize efficient response to calls for service.
* When situationally appropriate, geographically align units closer to their home base toward the end-of-shift in an effort to help optimize timely clock out.
* Monitors unit time on scene and time at hospital to ensure efficiency of service and availability of units.
* Tracks in CAD, out-of-service (OOS) time for fueling, pickups, critical supply restocking, vehicle issues, human factors, or other status changes.
* Provide provisional coverage for SSC position when SSC Battalion Chief is away from the console or situationally encumbered.
* Administer and facilitate inter-facility transfers. as necessary, under the direction and authority of the Lieutenant Paramedic.
* Assigns EMS units to replace placeholder units as available.
* Develops, produces. and analyzes reports on data for division director.
* Monitors program for compliance with management goals and objectives.
* Analyzes data, systems, and policies to maintain program effectiveness and efficiency.
* May' train personnel, as appropriate.
* May function as a division specialist in a technical area of expertise.

Minimum Requirements
Graduation from high school or possession of GED, and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in administrative or technical support.

A comparable amount of education, training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. IT Support Specialist
Company Overview: Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Specialist with successful and progressive experience in resolving routine to moderately complex problems or issues and will complete all tasks with a positive, customer\-service oriented attitude.
Position Summary: The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 3\-5 years of related work experience. The candidate responds to client requests and provides troubleshooting assistance and support related to hardware and\/or software issues. Listens to the client situation, ask appropriate\/relevant questions, run diagnostic tests, isolates the problem, determines solution and\/or fix as needed to resolve the issue and implements the solution.
Responsibilities:
Provide day\-to\-day support of desktop PC software applications.
Maintain the IT asset inventory database.
Works with end\-users in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware\/software and basic network support issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Log service requests as open tickets, maintain status, and provide follow\-up both to end users and to senior members of the IT team.
Schedule and install new hardware and software applications.
Perform preventative maintenance on computer equipment.
Develop and follow standard help desk procedures.
Ability to assist other technicians with issues and take ownership of an issue that was initially worked on by another technician.
Willing to take the lead on varied projects.
Willing to travel to remote sites.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Log all IT issues in the tracking system.
Work on IT projects as assigned by the IT Support Manager.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelorâs degree in technology related field (desirable) or 3\-5 years of related work experience
A CompTIA A+ and\/or CompTIA Network+, or MCTS Windows 7 Certification desirable.
Familiarity with Help Desk practices, ticket systems, team environment, etc. (Spiceworks).
Experience with remote troubleshooting (TeamViewer).
Experience with VPN.
Knowledge in Active Directory Users and Computers.
Working knowledge of Windows 7, 8, and 10.
Working knowledge of multi\-function printers (HP, Canon, Ricoh).
Knowledge and experience of customer service practices.
Good working knowledge of networking.
Good working knowledge in Telecom and VoIP technology.
Necessary Attributes:

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Self\-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
