Nevada Robotics at DRI is hiring part-time leaders to support educator robotics and drone professional development, community outreach, and competitions. Nevada Robotics is a computer science education outreach program that serves teachers and their PreK - 12th grade students. Nevada Robotics envisions an education system where all students have early and equal access to engaging and quality computer science instruction to build a foundation for their success in STEM classes, majors, and jobs.
This position is based in Reno and will support robotics and drone educator professional development, community outreach events, and competitions. Other tasks may be assigned as needed. Robotics Outreach Leaders (ROLs) will work some evenings and weekends. Hours and schedules vary by the week and are based on program needs. The position includes paid travel to towns and cities in Nevada including but not limited to Carson City, Fernley, Fallon, Minden, Las Vegas, Elko, Winnemucca, Mesquite, and Ely.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with and supporting teachers, students, and families. ROLs will work closely with teachers, children from ages PreK - 12th grade, and community members. Candidates should be excellent communicators who are excited to learn new technical skills. No experience with computer science, robotics, or drones is necessary. + Coach and mentor site EHS leaders and broader EHS teams within TAVS
**Operational Safety and EHS strategy**
+ Partner across TAVS facilities to characterize and predict risk, fortify layers of protection, andvalidatedefenses to support a zero-incident culture
+ Establish a TAVS Operational Safety and EHS Council and drive Daily Management rigor and connectivity across all locations
+ Partner with TAVS leadership toestablish, monitor, and manage Operational Safety and EHS KPIs
**Management of Change and standard work**
+ Drive rigorous Management of Change (MOC) processes for system-altering and risk-significant changes across facilities
+ Establish and ensure adherence to Operational Safety and EHS Standard Work (for example, risk mapping, defense strength reviews, and process hazard assessments)
+ Maintain, deploy, and continuously improve EHS and Operational Safety training, including Leader Standard Work for people leaders
**Continuous improvement**
+ Lead EHS daily management routines across TAVS facilities
+ Facilitate Problem Solving, Action Planning, and Kaizen events to continuously improve Operational Safety and EHS performance
+ Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices,leveragingindustry and regulatory trends
**Compliance and governance**
+ Partner with site leaders to drive adherence to GE Aerospace processes, policies, and standards, and applicable laws and regulations
+ Align with and help evolve the GE Aerospace EHS framework from a TAVS perspective
+ Influence effectively in a highly matrixed environment across operations, engineering, supply chain, and other functions
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment)
+ At least an additional 5 years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) methodology
+ Master's Degree from an accredited college or institution
+ Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
+ Extensive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing/production
+ Strong familiarity with EHS risks associated with machining and industrial processes

The base pay range for this position is $157,000 - $200,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 31, 2026.

Job Description
This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool.
The Library Evening Lead will have an essential role in the Learning Resources and Support mission to provide library access to WNC students and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse users, colleagues, and faculty.
Effective literacy, communication.
Customer service focus with an ability to de-escalate difficult situations.
Ability to work without supervision and engage in independent decision making that supports department priorities.
Strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets patrons as they enter the library and takes actions to ensure a positive and welcoming environment.
Ensures a safe and healthy environment in accordance with library policies and procedures.
Checks students into and out of the library. Assists patrons with basic circulation functions.
Issues library cards.
Answers phones.
Performs regular sweeps of the library to ensure a clean and tidy work environment (Study rooms, whiteboards, markers, supplies, furniture, library materials etc.).
Takes requests for inter-library loans.
Assists patrons in printing and making copies.
Handles cash accurately.
Follows security protocols, including closing.
Decisions and Judgement:

Applies discretion in notifying security as appropriate to ensure a safe environment.
Uses discretion to provide timely updates to supervisor.
