Title: Principal Software Engineer
Duration: 3-month contract to hire
The Principal Software Engineer position is responsible for delivering successful technical solutions for the Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion platforms. The individual is responsible for development and support activities with minimal supervision and guidance. A successful candidate will have a solid record of delivering technical solutions under timeline and a proven track record of working efficiently with business, functional, and technical teams. This role's focus is on the development, maintenance, and support of new and existing Oracle EBS and Cloud/Fusion functionality. The Principal Software Engineer will mentor, lead, and indirectly influence internally and cross functionally.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Leads and participates in schedule definition, system design, scope definition and development/selection of software solutions:
• Works with a team or independently to research and define user requirements and understand their needs, address those needs, handle problems as they arise, and escalate issues as required.
• With minimal direction, works to formulate system scope, objectives, requirements, and design documentation.
• Works with a team to provide information and development schedules for assigned work.
• Leads the creation of appropriate documentation for all application modifications and new development.
• Develops applications/enhancements within client's defined architecture and following the predefined processes/methodologies.
• Proactively communicates with and coordinates activities with other team members.
Team Support:
• Works with team members to develop, maintain and improve critical internal and external production applications.
• Works with Infrastructure and Service Desk teams to identify, diagnose and remediate production system issues.
• Provides timely status updates for assigned work to the team members and leadership.
• Researches the changing marketplace to keep current with technology and upgrades.
• Provides production system support as needed.
• Mentor, support, guide, and train other team members.
• May support or provide technical expertise within team and cross functionally.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
• Knowledge of enterprise frameworks, systems integrations, software development and testing methodologies is required
• Technical expertise/knowledge of development tools and processes
• Strong knowledge of developing interface and conversion routines

Translate those jointly defined needs into architecturally sound, compliant solutions that fit Solventum's enterprise IT governance model.

Volunteer & Team Development
Recruit, train, and pastor volunteers for all tech positions (broadcast, audio, lighting, projection, cameras, IT support).

Organize trainings, appreciation events, and ongoing development opportunities.
Systems & Administration
Manage department budgets, purchases, and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications
Mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Experience leading AVL, broadcast, or production in a medium-to-large church, concert venue, or college setting.
Minimum 3 years of experience in AVL production; degree or certification in video broadcasting, audio engineering, film, or related field preferred.
Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
Strong leadership, people skills, and ability to recruit and develop volunteers.

Position Summary:
RSM is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Infrastructure M&A ("Complex Delivery") team. This team leads strategic client engagements focused on M&A transactions, carveouts, integrations, and enterprise-scale IT transformations. Technical Director | Cornell College | Mount Vernon, IA At our partner institution at Cornell College Who are we looking for? The Technical Director (TD) is responsible for the successful creation and support of the institution's technology including all enterprise applications and associated computing environment, university web/portal services, system administration, network and user support/media services. The TD will be responsible for making key design and implementation decisions with the technical and application teams such as scheduling tasks, tracking dependencies, managing change requests and guaranteeing the quality of delivery while educating the technical and application teams on best practices.
Under the direction of the CIO, the TD will ensure that the client's services investments generate the highest value. The TD will assume all day-to-day responsibility for the management of the enterprise applications, hardware, software, services, and project management. The TD will also be responsible for the on-site staff that support the applications, network and servers as well as the act as the liaison for project teams that include both on-site and Dynamic Campus shared resources ensuring the client's business needs and objectives are effectively integrated into the use and functionality of all solutions. The TD will report to and work in concert with the direction and leadership of the Dynamic Campus CIO. The TD will ensure adherence to best practices and proven methodologies to promote continuous information operations and the integration of new value-added technical services and technology.

A Dynamic Campus TD is assigned to our partner institutions and partners with our Dynamic Campus CIO and the client Contract Administrator, often the CFO, Provost or the President/Chancellor. Our TDs are deeply engaged as a trusted advisor to the IT staff and departments at the institution. Strong interpersonal skills, a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ), and a consultative approach to building rapport and understanding business needs are a must. How will you be supported?
Our TDs and the site teams are actively supported by everyone in Dynamic Campus. Each TD joins our team of TDs and has access to them for counsel, communities of practice, and deep collaboration. Our TDs have a dedicated site staff augmented through access to a rich portfolio of professional services that include our Dynamic Campus Talent Cloud™, a nationwide team of higher education IT experts supporting the needs of our partners on campus or remotely.
Our TDs have access to a comprehensive resource library of best practice policies, procedures, and documents, and an exceptional HR team that supports all aspects of both personal and staff HR needs. Each TD is fully supported by the CIO. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours may vary.
Responsibilities:
Supervise applications, network operations, project management and user services/media staff including hiring, training, evaluating and disciplining
Guide or provide work direction to other technicalstaff, contract staff and/or student employees
Determine appropriate coverage for all hours of operation
Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, timeframes, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing administrative computing projects,staffing requirements, and allotment of resources
Provide systems analysis and problem solving support to deliver efficient and effective use of applications and other enterprise solutions in support of institutional goals and objectives
Provide systems maintenance, appropriate use, production and problem solving support, and departmental consulting
Assist with developing and presenting the Annual Work Portfolio (AWP) to the CIO and implement the agreed upon AWP
Provide monthly status reports to the CIO detailing progress on the AWP, pending issues and recommendations for action
Supervise development of project plans specifying scope, goals and objectives, strategy, schedules, risks, contingencies, and allocation of available resources
Implement quality assurance methodologies covering test plans, change/patch management, and problem management
Align functional processes with software capabilities
Establish technical standards to ensure the long-term, cost effective management and support of the currently installed systems and other enterprise solutions
Prepare upgrade project plans, when applicable, in collaboration with client
Negotiate with vendors for the selected environment applications, servers and devices
Follow established standards and procedures to track and measure projects' progression
Evaluate interview candidates for technical positions
Scout for and evaluate new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation
Provide input to the other disciplines on the practicality of initial design goals and impact to the overall project timeline
Report on project,staff and departmental work status regularly to the CIO
Identify poor performing systems that need upgrades or improvement and schedules corrective action, when possible
Develop, maintain, and communicate maintenance, installation, and configuration procedures
Contribute to and maintain system standards including Change Management
Oversee daily system monitoring, verify integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
Supervise repair and recovery from hardware or software failures
Oversee periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
Supervise ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
Work with Business Unit leaders to prioritize and rationalize new requests
Collaborate with the On-Demand team and Business Units to deliver enhancement and new business application solutions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
4-6 years of IT services experience in higher education working with or in Business Units on technology issues
3+ years of management experience in higher education administration and/or responsibility for IT services
Proven experience working in the higher education market, overseeing enterprise systems such as ERP, email, network, and help desk.
Strong understanding of technical troubleshooting methodology
Ability to facilitate problem-solving among administrative groups with varying needs and priorities and to communicate well with administrative users,technicalstaff, and senior management
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills across organizational boundaries
Ability to work with a range of technicalstaff to develop joint solutions
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT strategies, tactical plans, and annual work plans
Ability to achieve efficiencies through workflow improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of Higher Education experience as a TD or similar leadership position.
