Role Description
This team member is responsible for the hydrovac fleet, operators, technicians and associated tools to be mission ready at all times. This role includes oversight of operator and technician proficiency, adherence to safety protocols and practices, unit maintenance by the operators, units are outfitted with appropriate tooling for the assigned mission, monitoring inventory levels, and consumables for missions including PPE for their assigned area. This position will be notified along with fleet maintenance of units that require attention and will work with Fleet Maintenance to determine urgency and downtime.
This Team Member is also responsible for dispatching units and personnel for work schedule in their assigned area. Coordination with area sale team member and customer contact for site specific requirements and extending or rescheduling of missions.
Key Responsibilities
The following is a list of items or tasks included in this role but is not meant to be all inclusive as other tasks, need or requirements likely exist or may arise:
1. Operator and Technician proficiency, preparedness and readiness at all times to perform missions with necessary units and equipment.
2. Dispatching of operators and technicians for missions

10. Oversight and reporting of needed inventory items and PPE
11. Request for specialty items for missions
12. Attendance and appearance of operators and technicians in their area.
All other necessary actions or tasks to ensure the Hydrovac Fleet, Operators, Technicians are ready at all times.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in managerial experience, preferably in the hydrovac, oil & gas, or construction industries.
Skills:
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and field operations software.
Ability to travel to various job sites as required.

Position Brand Description:
The Supervisor Manufacturing Operations is directly responsible for managing the manufacturing operations for their respective area and shift. The Supervisor Manufacturing Operations is responsible for the day-to-day management of production activity in the assigned area in order to meet all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. The Supervisor Manufacturing Operations role is the management representative for one shift in one of the following manufacturing areas: Peptides purification and synthesis, Oligonucleotides or Small Molecules. The role is responsible for the supervision of operators involved in the direct execution of manufacturing operations (per SOPs and operational execution instructions) in order to safely and compliantly support the manufacturing of high-quality medicine to meet production schedules. The Supervisor Manufacturing Operations provides leadership and ensures that appropriate staffing is in place. The role will ensure equipment is maintained in a state of compliance and processes in a validated state for their respective area and shift.
In the project delivery phase and startup phase of the project (startup expected 2025 to 2027), leadership roles will be fluid and dynamic as we endeavor to support the project delivery, build a new organization, develop and implement the necessary systems and business processes required to support GMP operations, and build the site culture. This will require significant collaboration, creativity and resilience as the site grows to a full scale GMP manufacturing through start up.
Responsibilities:
Daily Operations/Business Management:
* Build and promote a strong Safety and Quality culture. Maintain a safe working environment and conduct operations activities in a manner that protects safety, environment and quality.
* Ensure operations maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements at all times.
* Ensure manufacturing area appropriately supports the execution of the production plan for the site.
* Ensure consistency of operations on designated shift through active engagement on the floor.
* Ensure audit action items assigned to operations are completed in a timely manner.
* Set objectives and development plans for operators. Respond to employee relations issues with operators on shift and escalate to management where necessary.
* Manage events as required, ensuring appropriate communication within the team and with external teams. Provide input to investigations.
* Build and develop a team, creating clear common purpose and promoting good team spirit.
* Ensure that operators are appropriately trained, and that operating procedures and training material are available and current.
* Communicate appropriately with operators regarding site objectives and team business.
* Ensure the team is adequately resourced to meet the business objectives appropriately managing overtime as necessary.
Specifically, during the startup phase of the Lebanon API site (2025 to 2027) leadership will be expected to be collaborative, inclusive, and support the broader team to:
* Build the organization with the necessary capability, capacity and culture to operate this facility to the highest standards of operational excellence.
* Develop and implement the systems and processes needed to run the site, leveraging existing Lilly knowledge and practices where necessary, but also incorporating external experiences and learning.
* Ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence by supporting lean principles in their respective area.
* Support the project team as they deliver the facility to the site team, by providing feedback and support.
Basic Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 5+ years' experience directly supporting an API or chemical manufacturing operation or equivalent
* Chemical synthesis experience or equivalent chemical processing experience
* Demonstrated leadership experience

Prepares and completes appropriate reports including Patient Care Reports (PCR), billing, exposure reports, incident reports, daily, weekly, and monthly unit check offs.
Ensures unit and crew members adhere to our EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, and standards. Reports any deficiencies to Operations Manager.
Ensures vehicle placed in-service comply with required laws, rules license, and regulations as outlined by the State and other authorized agencies.
Prompt and regular attendance at work and mandatory meetings.
Maintain a state of readiness and professionalism while on duty.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct while in company uniform either on or off duty.
Self-motivated and requires little supervision and direction.

What does it take to work for Pace?
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of dock leadership experience in the Transportation/Logistics field strongly preferred.
Routing experience preferred.
Experience with scanners and basic understanding of dispatch operating systems.
Ability to identify real-time operational problems and provide solutions efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
Familiarity with DOT/FMSCA/OSHA regulations and requirements.
Strong customer service skills, to include building new relationships and growing current ones.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor a team of drivers, fleet and equipment that operates 7 days a week.
Oversee and manage operations to budget.
Analyze operations and service performance metrics to achieve optimum results.
Supervise compliance with DOT/FMCSA/OSHA regulations and requirements.
Effectively communicate with customers and on-site personnel.
Oversee and/or complete timely administration of reporting to our corporate office and our customers.
Strategically manage to the business model.
Oversee training and development initiatives.
Employ performance indicators to meet tight shipping schedules.
Ability to effectively tailor communication, both orally and written, to employees throughout all levels of the organization.
