Syed Ashik Rahman has recognized himself as a man of difference in the area of Broadcast media in Bangladesh with his 20 years of experience in media industries. He is one of the founder members of Banglavision Television Channel. In June 2010 Syed Ashik Rahman took charge of Bengal Media Corporation Limited known as Rtv. With his dynamic leadership, Rtv reached in new height and become one of the most popular satellite TV channels is not only in Bangladesh but also in America, Canada, the Middle-East, and other parts of Europe among Bangladeshi Immigrant citizens. Under Mr.Ashik Rahman’s leadership, Rtv becomes the highest TVR-rated Television channel over the last couple of years. Mr. Ashik Rahman is the host and moderator of popular talk shows such as Diplomatic Zone, Forthright, Business Talk, Kemon Bangladesh Chai, etc. Mr. Ashik Rahman is a keen painter and loves to paint in his leisure time. He completed his MBA and MSE from Russia. Mr. Ashik Rahman joined Rtv in June 2010 as Chief Executive Officer. From the year 2004 to 2010 Mr. Rahman worked successfully as Head of Marketing & Finance in “Banglavision TV”. Mr. Rahman worked as Manager, Creative TV documentary, Commercial and advertisement in “Illusion Creative House of Visual Media” from the year 2000 to 2004. Mr. Ashik Rahman is the second child of Mr. Syed Matiur Rahman and Mrs. Samsunnahar Rahman. Mr. Rahman married to Tanjina Sharmin and they have a daughter and lives in Eskaton, Dhaka.
