KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Plant Manager and plant personnel, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Requirements Payroll & Attendance Management: Verify weekly timecards, calculate hours worked (including overtime, vacation, and bonuses), and submit accurate records to the corporate payroll department. Recruiting & Onboarding Support: Assist in sourcing, screening, hiring, and onboarding plant personnel, including collecting new hire documentation, explaining payroll procedures, and maintaining organized employee files. Experience in the lumber industry or shipping & receiving is a plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player. Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage interruptions professionally and efficiently. Highly organized with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees, truck drivers, vendors, and customers.
