What you'll do day to day
Lead a blended team (onshore/offshore) delivering L2/L3 support for applications and data pipelines running on Databricks and AWS.
Partner with client stakeholders in consumer products/retail/eCommerce to understand business cycles, promotions, loyalty campaigns, and their impact on the application and data landscape.
Oversee runbooks, knowledge base, and operational documentation, ensuring that support processes are well-documented, current, and actually used.
Coordinate and chair service reviews and business reviews, presenting performance metrics, incident summaries, risks, and proposed initiatives.
Work closely with architects and engineering leads to transition new capabilities into steady-state support, ensuring operability, monitoring, and supportability are in place before go-live.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts associated with the managed service, ensuring third parties deliver to agreed SLAs.
Identify and escalate risk, compliance, and data protection issues, especially around customer data in retail/eCommerce and loyalty contexts, and drive remediation plans.

What you bring
10+ years of experience in enterprise application and/or infrastructure support, with significant time in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT consulting environment.
Proven track record managing large application stacks and complex production support engagements, ideally spanning both applications and data platforms.
Hands-on exposure to Databricks and PySpark in a production context
Strong familiarity with AWS services used in event-driven and data-centric architectures - especially Kinesis, Lambda, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB - and how they fit into an end-to-end data and application landscape.
Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and SLA management: you've run incident, problem, and change processes and built/used KPI dashboards.
Demonstrated experience leading teams (direct or matrixed), including coaching, workload balancing, and building a culture of accountability and ownership.
Excellent client-facing skills: you are comfortable in executive conversations, can explain technical issues in business terms, and handle difficult discussions with composure.

How You'll Contribute:
A Media Sr Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for the scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction of a project throughout its entire lifecycle, from Initiation through Closing phases. Every project is different, and project stakeholders are different. The SPM needs to negotiate a very complex set of variables between discovery, analysis, conceptual design, and a widely varying set of expectations with multiple stakeholders. The skill of communicating both verbally and in writing to manage all these variables takes a very high level of awareness, emotional intelligence, and people management skills. The PM is constantly managing the forces of change in every project environment. Balancing schedules, budgets, scope, quality, and client satisfaction are a very complex set of variables.

How will you contribute to the team?
* Staff Administration: With Technical Director, BU Managers and Project Managers, identifies current and future staffing availability based on technical and budgetary requirements of future workload and manpower projections. This senior role will be responsible for Engineering, Automation, and AI Enablement for data derived services in the Counter Threat Operations Center (Fusion Center). Implement certified robustness using interval bound propagation (IBP) and CROWN-IBP for isolation forest and tabular GNN detectors

Stay abreast of innovations in AI, data infrastructure, and cloud platforms to maintain the department's edge against a complex adversary.
Deploy PPO + SAC agents trained in MITRE ATT&CK Gym environments (Caldera + Atomic Red Team) to orchestrate multi-stage hunt sequences.
Integrate LLM-augmented playbooks (fine-tuned Mistral Large 2) that generate SOAR runbooks in Cortex XSOAR DSL from natural language TTP descriptions.
Reduce MTTD to ≤2 minutes for Tier-1 incidents via graph attention networks (GATv3) over Neo4j AuraDB correlating terabytes of data daily.
Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans

Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
8+ years in AI/ML, data engineering, data science with at least 4+ years in leadership roles leading AI, Fusion Center, or CTOC transformations in large financial institutions with track record of reducing MTTD and MTTR Kri's.
Proven ability lead and manage teams in a matrixed environment, with a history of influence and persuasion over diverse technology teams.
