The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for a group of Mechanics and will oversee and assign daily work orders regarding project work, new construction, equipment installation, general building maintenance, emergency equipment repairs and assist other maintenance groups throughout the facility to support manufacturing goals and objectives. Oversee the implementation of the plants existing maintenance program to include preventative maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor will work in collaboration with the operating staff to ensure that the plant is safe and operates at peak conditions on a daily basis.

Manages and develops direct staff.
Assigns and supervises delegated daily work assignments in an efficient, safe manner and in accordance with established plant GMP and Safety policies.
Reports all observed safety hazards to manager.
Conducts daily inspection rounds of the facility noting the operational status of key equipment and support systems. Communicates directly with the operations departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
Conducts oneself in a professional manner, observe plant rules and policies, maintains continuity between shifts, and contributes to an overall team effort.
Directs the work activities of a group of multi-skilled Mechanics responsible for all facets of maintenance work throughout the entire facility including general building maintenance, equipment installation, electrical construction, metal fabrication and welding, mechanical and sanitary piping, lift truck repairs and emergency equipment repairs.
Ensures equipment rooms, fabrication sites, and work areas are kept clean and orderly.
Ensures work assignments are well planned and properly scheduled to minimize production downtime. All parts and supply orders have been placed well ahead of time and on site as work schedules require.
Is on call as required by plant emergencies and operational needs.
Maintains a working knowledge of plant operations and be able to assist other department or operational groups as work or project needs require.
Maintains a record of all day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility as well as prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
Evaluating the performance of the subordinates and ensures that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions.

Position Description:
Under the direct supervision of the individual designated on the agency Organizational Chart, the Outreach and Engagement Center Shift Supervisor will support the Program Manager to ensure that individuals who are experiencing homelessness are offered brief respite and information, advocacy and referrals for continued assistance and support after they leave the Outreach and Engagement Center. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing the operations of the Center while on duty and reporting outcomes.
The Outreach and Engagement Center is a program designed to provide respite for adults experiencing homelessness who are referred to us from City of Sacramento Department of Community Response, Sacramento County Park Rangers or the City of Sacramento Impact Team who are camping in the immediate vicinity of the Center. The Center is a place to receive support, services, linkages and to gain hope for a resolution. This program is designed to provide a safe environment for individuals who are in need of relief from the stresses homelessness, and who need assistance in accessing services and resources. The Outreach and Engagement Center is open and welcomes individuals 24 hours a day / 7 days a week by referral invitation only. Services will be offered from a Trauma informed perspective and will utilize Motivational Interviewing and other Evidence Based Practices as appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following; other duties may be assigned)
Support individuals with active listening, demonstrate empathy and carry a message of hope and recovery
Ensure that Best Practices of mental health recovery are taught and implemented.
Observe, assess, intervene and refer (within one's scope of practice) in situations with clients regarding mental health symptoms, physical health symptoms and substance use issues.
Assure the safe, effective and efficient implementation of direct services to guests in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.
Coordinate guest care with community resources as applicable.
Ensure that direct report staff is informed regarding pertinent Agency business.
Connect with partner organizations and programs as needed to ensure appropriate and sufficient referrals and to receive updated community information.
Follow and apply all personnel policies seeking appropriate consultation when necessary.
Assess, train, and support direct reports including interns/volunteers to ensure quality services.
Ensure for the review, evaluation and screening of relevant employment applications. Interview and check references on job applicants. Make hiring recommendations to the appropriate management team member.
Coordinate guest care with community resources as applicable using online direct referral and closed loop referral tools such as “UniteUS and Find Help”.
Accurately complete all necessary forms, reports and paperwork required by the funder on a timely basis (e.g., progress notes, special incident reports, discharge summaries, , HMIS, ViSpdat and other reports as required).
Requisition and purchase household, maintenance, office and program supplies as applicable.
Act as a designated Mandated Reporter for the observed or suspected abuse and/or neglect of children, disabled individuals, dependent adults and elder/senior citizens. Mandated Reporter also includes “Duty to Warn” which includes the responsibility to notify authorities and the intended victim(s) of physical harm.
Assist in guest concerns and complaints, intervene in, and/or oversee, crises and emergencies as they occur.
Ensure the accurate screening and assessment of admissions and discharges in conjunction with contracted criteria.
Ensure that the Center and surrounding environment is clean and fit for occupancy, where applicable. Provide and assist with cleaning as needed.
Ensure that onsite Kennel operation is managed in a clean and safe manner.
Ensure the protection and confidentiality of all Protected Health Information (PHI) by following all policies and procedures in the agency HIPAA Manual.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Outreach and Engagement Center department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
Two (2) years demonstrated experience communicating and interacting with people experiencing homelessness, people experiencing a mental health crisis or people with behavioral health challenges..
Ability to supervise, delegate and provide leadership to staff.
Knowledge of community organizations and community resources.
Mental health crisis intervention experience is highly desirable.
Work experience with persons who have substance abuse problems, preferably individuals who are dually diagnosed (mental health & substance abuse) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of 12-Step Programs and/or personal experience with substance abuse recovery is highly desirable.
Lived experience with homelessness, mental health challenges or substance use disorders or as a family member of someone who has lived experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Provide own automobile, possess a valid California Driver's License, and have adequate vehicle insurance as required by California state law. In addition, an employee's driving record must meet, and continue to meet, the underwriting standards established by the generalized driving guidelines used by our insurance broker.
Must have at least 3 or more years of driving experience.

Operations:
• Readies the store at the start and end of the shift, including closing shifts. Evaluates food pars to ensure timely and accurate assembly of products.
• Opens and/or closes store as required. Performs all safety and security tasks as required to open and close the store. Observes the “five-minute rule” of opening the store five minutes early and closing the store five minutes late.
• Performs cash handling and administrative functions including close-outs, safe accountability and cash drops. Conducts inventory counts and process orders as directed by the GM.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements::
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current Vitaligent team member or commensurate food/retail service experience.
• Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills.
• Must be able to work a variable of shifts (openings, mid-day shifts, and closing) from week-to-week.
• Able to lift 40 pounds regularly throughout shifts.

• This is a part time, hourly position that is eligible for overtime. Specific availability requirements will vary from store to store.
