Summary of Job Purpose and Function The primary purpose and function of the Student Ambassador is to serve as a liaison between their university (students and faculty) and an assigned Banfield Medical Director. The position is renewable depending on demonstrated success and continued funding. About the McNair Scholars Program: Housed within UF Student Success, the McNair Scholars Program provides a pathway to graduate school for first-generation undergraduate students from limited-income backgrounds. Each year, the program supports 25 outstanding scholars from diverse disciplines, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to successfully pursue Ph.D. studies.
