Students are responsible for taking the Skills Checklist to the school of nursing for completion. Works under the supervision of a KH RN preceptor. SNIs are directly responsible to the RN for performing basic bedside care and selected nursing procedures. PLEASE NOTE: even when skills on the checklist have been validated to perform independently, some duties require that a RN be present to perform.
