Crisis Intervention Specialist Duties: In this role, you will be provide crisis intervention services to individuals in community settings in Licking County. Services being a Public Health Officer, with the ability to write involuntary admissions, and completing Hospital Pre-Screens for Psychiatric admissions or community safety plans, as well as mobile crisis services for children and adults. Each staff is designated a specific shift and location, for a 40 hour work week, with the addition of a one (1), twelve (12) hour On Call shift a month, and on a rotation basis to provide a required holiday coverage, once or twice a year. The clients within the residential care homes are adults suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues. Job Type: Full-Time and part-time is available. Rate: $15 Days: 5 days a week Shifts: 1st Shift 8a - 4p 2nd Shift 4p - 12a 3rd Shift 12a - 8a WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS Responsibilities: Ensure the health and safety of our clients Administer medications Cook healthy meals, per State regulations/guidelines Confirm that food is available to coordinate with the weekend and holiday menus. Complete balanced weekly menus for 2 weeks. Clean and maintain the office area and common areas of the home. Hourly house checks: Being aware of the whereabouts of every resident on the hour. Assist residents assigned to you with completion of their ADLs and maintenance of their room. Ensure the bathrooms are clean at the end of your shift. Ensure the kitchen and dining room areas are clean at the end of your shift, all dishes are put away, tables and counter tops are cleaned off. Plan and implement activities Maintain residents schedule for your shift. Supervise client medication, charting all incoming medications, coordination with nurse and case manager regarding medication compliance. Behavior documentation Incident reports Communication logs Communicate with co-workers and house managers about concerns or activities completed/need completed throughout the shift Maintain required certifications and training Monitor medical needs of the individual(s) Provide behavioral intervention, as needed Serve as a role model of appropriate behavior and social skills in the home and the community Conduct additional services requested by our consumer or their service team that may improve their quality of life, health and safety Qualifications: Bilingual (Nepali and English) required.
