As the Dermatologist you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring specialize care. You'll work as part of a team-based model where primary and specialty care providers to provide high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and growing population.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions
+ Develop and implement a plan of care for these patients, as well as prescribe medications, exercises and/or other treatments
+ Collaborates with the clinical and administrative teams in the management of patient care. Maintaining continuity of care through the exchange of information with outside health and social agencies
+ Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists such as general surgeons. Consults with primary care providers on issues related to patient care
+ Teaches and counsels individuals and groups with regard to specific health care needs. Serves as an educator in areas of specialization
+ Participates in the development of health education programs

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine
+ Board Certified or Bord Certified Eligible in Dermatology
+ Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
+ Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
**Preferred Qualification:**

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $360,000 to $672,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. Responsibilities:
* Support development of scalable data pipelines and automated quality controls (schema, completeness, drift) across multiple sources.
* Build statistical models for duration and action frequency; build exposure/phase level features and run exploratory/variance analyses.

Responsibilities
Manages portfolio of Program Administrators. Leverages market presence and expertise to develop and underwrite profitable business, acting as a representative for Liberty. Maintains a strong market presence, including established relationships with agents, brokers, and program administrators. Looks to strengthen these relationships and develop new ones. Articulates key coverage differences with a high degree of detail. Provides significant input into the business and marketing planning process, including advanced data-driven insights from portfolio analysis. Participates in projects across departments designed to drive underwriting and process excellence (e.g., member of a working team). Models effective collaboration across teams, stakeholders and partners (e.g., UW Support, Claims, Actuarial). Has strong knowledge of key legal cases, legislation and regulation impacting area(s) of underwriting expertise. Shares knowledge based on technical expertise, including providing external thought-leadership. Mentors, coaches, and trains other underwriters and internal partners.
Risk Selection: Guides program administrators to profitable growth of their assigned specialty program(s). Through referral handling, evaluates or assesses the business by qualifying accounts; identifying and assessing risks; evaluating the premium, policy terms and conditions; obtaining approvals where necessary; and successfully negotiating deals with the Program Administrator. Through underwriting audits, conducts file reviews and partners with program administrator(s) to develop action plans when necessary, develops or revises underwriting guidelines or program administrator authority as needed.
Relationships: Builds strong relationships externally with our program administrators; demonstrates a high level of responsiveness and focus on supporting objectives for assigned program(s). Qualifications
Degree in Business or equivalent typically required
A minimum of 7 years expected, typically 10 years or more, of progressive underwriting experience and/or other related business experience

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses and information in understandable written and/or oral directives to other persons in the organization for underwriting or training purposes

In this role, you can expect to:
* Perform complex quarterly CW Indication which directly impacts company pricing and UW decisions.
* Develop deep understanding of profit projections. Individually and in partnership with teams across the organization, critically examine peril-level loss trends, weather/CAT loads, premium trends, expense levels, initiative impacts and customer mix changes.
* Determine a range of reasonable outcomes given assumption uncertainty and support our pricing selections to Product leadership and stakeholders.
* Research, propose, and build out improvements to the indications process.
* Work closely with Forecast, Reserving, and State Indications teams to ensure consistency of methodologies.
* Communicate indications changes and implications to peer teams and senior leaders within the organization.
* Mentor, motivate, and train less experienced staff and peers.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
* Associateship or Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS) designation preferred or comparable education/designation with relevant experience.
* Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience required.
* Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards, as well as other business operations including financial, underwriting, legal, statistics, claims, sales, etc.
* Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and interact effectively with others within and outside the organization.
* Ability to motivate and mentor peers and motivate and train subordinates.
* Advanced computing skills (MS Office Excel, SAS, etc.) with ability to build complex models.

Track version control, change logs, approvals, and archiving;

Maintain audit-ready documentation; assist with regulatory filings or attestations where required.
Claims partnership and feedback loop
Collaborate with Claims to capture lessons from disputes and litigation trends; draft guidance notes and propose clarifications to improve coverage certainty.
Support coverage position letters and documentation packs with research, citations, and clause histories.
Innovation and product development support
Help draft prototype wordings for new propositions
Check alignment between underlying policy wordings and reinsurance treaty/facultative clauses.
Administer wording management tools, ensuring robust version control, approval workflows, and usage analytics.
Build dashboards and trackers for adoption of standard forms, deviation rates, SLA performance, disputes, and audit findings; provide monthly reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field. Minimum 3 years, typically 4 years or more of relevant work experience.
2 - 5 years of experience in insurance wordings, legal/paralegal support, underwriting support, or product documentation; cyber specialty experience preferred.
Strong drafting, redlining, and proofreading skills with a plain-language mindset and exceptional attention to detail.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $65,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
