As the Medical Social Worker, provides medical social services under the direction of a physician and Interdisciplinary Group to assist in the understanding of significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health status and in development of coping mechanisms. This role may have in office requirements based on candidate location. Level of position offered will be based on skills and experience at manager discretion. Responsibilities: Support development of scalable data pipelines and automated quality controls (schema, completeness, drift) across multiple sources. Build statistical models for duration and action frequency; build exposure/phase level features and run exploratory/variance analyses. Assist in clustering/segmentation and hypothesis testing to quantify efficiency and service impacts. As the Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be for providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability. Primary Responsibilities: * Responsible for following all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care, to follow the treatment set only as defined by the supervising OT * Following the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants * Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition * Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
