The Shipping Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping operations, inventory management, and personnel leadership, including forklift drivers, office staff, and support teams. JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee outbound fruit movement, ensuring all shipments meet customer specifications and are dispatched on time
Maintain and continuously improve processes within the shipping department
Ensure cooler operations function efficiently; report and follow up on maintenance issues

Handle administrative responsibilities including inventory reporting, PIQ documentation, labor management, and budgets

1. Order Picking (30%):
Review regular orders (paper) and Pick Lists (RF Gen), pick materials utilizing forklift throughout warehouse and assemble in a staging lane.
Review the Picked Materials from a co-worker (level I or II) to ensure accuracy and completeness of order before shipping.
2. Housekeeping (5%):
Ensure aisles & rack locations are clean of debris and empty pallets.
3. Forklift Inspections (5%):
Pre-shift and post-shift inspection of forklift to ensure properly maintained and any necessary repairs are escalated.
4. Mentorship & Training (10%):
Conduct new employee training to help them to properly pick orders.
Act as a resource if they are having trouble locating an item.
Ensure new associates are following safety and housekeeping protocols guide as necessary.
Provide ongoing support, training and act as escalation point.
5. Order Loading/Un-Loading (30%):
Assist with loading of completed orders onto trucks, delivery carriers and/or customer pickups.
Assist with order unloading of LTL Carriers and truck loads.
Perform receiving duties for orders being delivered - ensure items orders are actually received, inform purchaser of any discrepancies.
Stock items located in the warehouse or deliver to purchasing party.
Correct any Purchase Order discrepancies.
Assist Procurement & Accounts Payable regarding Purchase Orders/Invoices issues and corrections.

5. Put Aways (5%):

Job Duties

About the role
The Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, environmentally sound, and efficient daily operation of the facility, the supervisory personnel and for the overall activities and personnel of the Thermomechanical Treatment Facility (TTF) operations. This position will report directly to the Facility Manager. The Operations Manager possesses a high level of safety and environmental methodology and promotes best practices.
The individual must be a proven leader who can provide vision and leadership to achieve daily, yearly, and long-term production objectives. This position has direct reports including Shift Supervisors (1-5 exempt supervisors), and Operators (30-35 nonexempt operators).
Position Responsibilities:
Oversees the activities of the TTF operations staff, ensuring the continued operation of boilers, turbine-generator, and all auxiliary equipment at a level of efficiency necessary to achieve maximum power generation output while maintaining all federal and state environmental standards.
Must have a good working knowledge of steam, turbine, boiler equipment and conveying systems.
Has the organizational capability to work across multiple functions, systems, and be able to communicate well with operators, mechanics, peers, and leadership.
Ensures that shift supervisors are adhering to all company, state and federal policies and procedures concerning environmental parameters, safety, housekeeping, and employee relations.
Must be able to lead improvement teams, network with appropriate professional organizations and maintain strong connections to regional and corporate M&R and technical groups.
Documents daily production and capacity, providing such reports to the Facility Operations Manager and to the Solid Waste Authority daily.
Accompanies representatives of the Solid Waste Authority on plant inspection tours, appropriately responding to discrepancies as required.
Reviews daily logs of shift activities, as well as all operator logs and system check sheets daily.
Monitors maintenance work requests and reviews work order backlogs with the Power Plant Maintenance Superintendent.
Participates in outage planning work, scheduling support manpower, ordering materials and supplies as needed.
Monitors usage and supply levels of materials and chemicals needed to operate the plant, requisitioning additional supplies as needed.
Maintains work schedules for all operating shifts, providing continuous coverage of each position. Arranges and posts schedules for overtime coverage of operator's vacations and holidays. Assembles and reviews semi-monthly time sheets for all department personnel.
Ensures the department's safety awareness and compliance with plant safety policies and procedures, attending and participating in weekly shift safety meetings conducted by the shift supervisors.
Oversees the maintenance of a clean, safe, and orderly facility, enforcing housekeeping standards.
Provides annual written performance appraisals for each shift supervisor. Reviews performance reviews of operators as they are evaluated by the shift supervisors.
Conducts formal training sessions in power plant operations and ensures adequate training for all operators.
Oversees employee relations activities within the department, recommending and reviewing corrective action procedures, and participating in their administration.
Performs other assignments as directed by the Facility Operations Manager or other facility management.
Position Requirements & Qualifications:
Five or more years of experience in the operation of power plant equipment and systems, at least 5 of which were in a supervisory role with full supervisor responsibilities.
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Must be ASME/QRO Certified and must be able to obtain site specific Chief Operator Certification within 6 months.
Must have a complete understanding of all power plant equipment and systems, with extensive work experience in a power generation facility, preferably in a management or supervisory capacity. Specific expertise in resource recovery material handling is preferred.

Job Summary
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day member and team experience within your club. From new member onboarding to staff training and performance coaching, you'll ensure smooth daily operations while driving key business results. You'll play a critical role in member sales, retention, and satisfaction-while supporting the General Manager in hitting all membership goals. This is a leadership role where you'll inspire both your team and members to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional first impression every day by ensuring a positive, welcoming environment for members and staff.
Drive member integration and sales performance by leading kickoff sessions, boosting booking and participation percentages, and supporting ACH setup and account management.
Support retention efforts through cancel-save processes, follow-up calls with cancelled members, and month-over-month cancel reduction strategies.
Coach and assist staff on sales techniques to improve conversions, ACH enrollment, referrals, and duplication.
Organize and execute member engagement events, including monthly appreciation parties, social media initiatives, and community-building activities.
Manage operational details such as cooler/drink inventory, member billing updates, and reporting accuracy.
Conduct weekly leadership meetings with club leaders (GM, AGM, PTM, GFM) to review performance, address challenges, and drive accountability.
Oversee implementation and follow-up on all cleaning systems and protocols to maintain Crunch's high standards.
Review daily and monthly performance reports to identify opportunities for improvement and provide training/development solutions.
Actively support the General Manager in achieving all membership unit and revenue targets.
