Verifies the correctness of incoming shipments against bills of lading and maintains record of materials received. Rejects damaged goods or materials and packing slip to Purchasing for processing. Receives picking tickets, picks product form shelves and assembles for packaging. Checks items to be shipped against picking ticket to assure quantities, destinations and routing are correct. Completes packaging, weighs, labels and readies for pickup according to instructions on picking ticket. Uses scale for shipment of products.
Assures all facilities related items are monitored and handled as scheduled or required.
Assures cycle count of inventory is taken and full cycle is completed every three months. Forwards for update and works with Purchasing department to correct discrepancies. Assures inventory accuracy.
Assures safety procedures are followed.
Makes recommendations for changes in warehouse layout or equipment and implements approved changes.
Assures warehouse is opened and locked up daily if first one in or last one out.
Assures the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
Performs all other special projects and responsibilities.

The pay range for this position in PA is $17.75 - $26.19, plus overtime eligible.
