This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their new plant! Must learn all aspects of all plant equipment and be able to operate that equipment as necessary. Prepare and establish an annual budget for the operations department and meet this budget. Responsible for managing all shift production schedules. Conduct employee performance reviews. Schedule and conduct plant meetings and facilitate monthly meetings for the operational teams. Develop programs to allow for consistent reduction of operating costs year over year through effective management of the department. Maintain an active presence on the production floor and interaction with all employees whenever possible. Coordinates the planning, developing, scheduling, and delivery of operational education / training programs, including management training. Work with the director of engineering and maintenance manager to direct the operational programs to include plant utilities, refrigeration, maintenance, wastewater, PM programs, employee developmental programs, cost reductions, capital budget and planning, equipment specifications, product specifications and any other related functions for a world-class facility. Maintain accurate and current product manufacturing protocols for all products manufactured at the facility. Ensure that all product specifications are met during each production run. Work with vendors and suppliers to bring the best technologies, best practices and most dependable supplies and equipment at the most favorable price. Develop objectives, standard operating procedures, and performance standards for staff and prioritize projects within the operational department to meet departmental and company objectives. Investigate and respond to consumer and customer complaints. This function will work directly with the quality assurance and engineering departments. Assist in training of all plant personnel regarding good housekeeping, manufacturing procedures, allergen control, proper sanitation, product handling and other food quality related requirements. Must be able to work on evening shifts or weekends to support the needs of the food safety and quality programs. Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Dairy Science, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience of plant management in food manufacturing, dairy preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, MS Project, Visio and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in environments with varying temperatures. Ability to navigate all areas of the facility, including office spaces, warehouse areas, and the exterior perimeter. Physically capable of standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and crouching as needed.

    The Popeyes District Manager is responsible for overseeing up to 6 restaurants and the overall sales, operations, profitability and people management for the Popeyes restaurants in an assigned area. Monthly bonuses based on sales, cost control, and brand standard. Ensure all restaurants are staffed properly with qualified RGMs and Assistant Managers. Work through RGMs to ensure restaurants are staffed with qualified shift supervisors, and crew. Develops and executes plans to achieve top line sales performance compared to budget sales for each area. Develops plans to control expenses and achieve budget for restaurant operating profit for each areas of the Profit and Loss Statements. Ensures all assigned restaurants meet Popeyes Corporate operational standards necessary to achieve expansion approval. Maximize presence in restaurants in all dayparts to monitor operational status to provide feedback to RGMs. Hires, terminates and conducts performance reviews of restaurant general managers and ensures reviews for assistant managers, shift supervisors, and crew are completed. Assists restaurant general managers in identifying training needs and the execution of training programs to improve their restaurant management teams. Assist restaurant general managers with compliance and understanding of Liberty Restaurants. policies and procedures, such as; Security, Safety, Cash handling, Sexual Harassment. Assists in ensuring restaurants are following all state and federal labor laws, as they pertain to Popeyes. Assist restaurant general managers with compliance and understanding of Popeyes policies, procedures and requirements. Requirements 3 year college business degree is preferred or equal experience. 3-5 years of experience in multiunit management in the food industry is preferred. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE FUNCTION Review admissions for accuracy of payer information. Maintain daily census information for each resident of the facility (see Census Function). Obtain W-9 information from all service providers as required by law. Communicate with suppliers/vendors concerning questions about invoices, payment dates, etc. PAYROLL FUNCTION Timely transmission of all new hire information to the home office to ensure new employees are entered into the time clock as quickly as possible. Proper reporting of all new employees to appropriate state/federal agencies as required by law. Daily monitoring of time clock for missing punches, short lunches, missing lunches, etc. Responsible for reporting habitual time clock discrepancies to appropriate department heads/supervisors and administrator. Setup and maintenance of employee files. Processing of payroll information for each payroll period to include total hours, bonuses, PTO, deductions, garnishments, etc. Distribute paychecks to employees in accordance with established company procedures. Timely reporting to home office of all pay changes, deduction changes, terminations, etc. Appropriate and timely filing of reports to state/federal agencies as required by law. Ensure proper filing and secure storage of all employee/payroll related information. CASH FUNCTION Monitor opening of mail to ensure all payments received are accounted for. Check payment processing software for electronic payments received. Deposit all funds received and send check register to home office daily. Post all payments received daily to appropriate accounts/residents. Monitor cash calls received from home office to ensure check registers agree and all service/bank charges are properly recorded on local accounts. Reconcile and replenish all petty cash accounts at least once a month, more often if necessary. Reconcile facility bank accounts as directed to include employee fund and resident council. CENSUS FUNCTION Reconcile census daily to ensure the manual and financial census' agree. Continuous monitoring of changes that would affect census. Ensure that all room changes, transfers, discharges, and leaves of absence are properly recorded and completed in a timely manner. Consistent and effective communication with clinical staff to ensure accuracy of billing. Report all census discrepancies immediately supervisor. OTHER FUNCTIONS Participate in all departmental meetings. Greet all visitors to the facility in a courteous and professional manner. Communicate effectively and productively with co-workers and staff. Supervise work assigned to office assistant and/or receptionist if positions exist. Answer telephone calls in a timely manner and direct calls to appropriate staff/departments. Return phone messages in a timely manner. Be informed about current employment laws, rules and regulations. Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
