Position Summary:
This position is a part time role at Camping World Racing Resort. We are a fast paced campground located on the Charlotte Motor Speedway grounds that is open daily with over 350 full hookup campsites. You will be asked to provide excellent customer service to our guests by answering phones, making reservations, checking guests in, answering questions about the campground, and the speedway events. The position requires learning our software, some computer work and answering our web based phones. Part time role is limited to under 30 hours a week. This position is hourly. Occasional weekends, if needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Arrive and make sure you are logged onto the computers and ready to start work at the time assigned to you.
Greet guests, distribute pertinent info for the reservation, guide guests to their assigned site and help enforce the rules and regulations of the campground.
Answer the phones and provide superior customer service. Making reservations, providing clear and correct info to the caller, and making sure all the charges are correct and the reservation is complete.
When a guest arrives, check them in, complete the paperwork, and make sure they know how to get to their site.
Report and assist the Camping Operations Manager as needed.

Disciplines using verbal redirection, physical removal, and time out as appropriate.
Communicates with and informs immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and reacts appropriately.
Assists with lunch/dinner service as it relates to youth activities.
Supports and works youth and family events by setting up and breaking down décor, activities, and games, supervising games and activities during the event, and assisting with post-event cleanup.
Maintains a safe and clean environment.
Exhibits proper phone etiquette.
Attend all department staff meetings and trainings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.

During sessions, Camp staff typically work Monday-Friday, for approximately 10 hours per day, usually between the hours of 7am-6pm (start/end times may vary). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Counselors are responsible for leading/implementing activities for the participants, such as games, crafts, environmental education programs, and if applicable, swimming, short hikes, etc. Counselors are also responsible for participant supervision, behavior management, customer communication, and program management/organization. Includes daily record keeping, maintaining a clean work environment, good relations with the public and other staff members, the safety and welfare of participants, maintaining morale and a motivated atmosphere, as well as other duties assigned by the director/coordinator.
