In accordance with management directives this position directs the activities of the FieldService Department, as well as the employees, in the performance of Field repairs and parts on equipment to ensure that the company provides the customer with the most efficient and cost-effective product line support possible.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position mandates that the employee be able to perform all of the following functions:
Supervise and develop the personnel of the department
Receive and respond to customer requests or inquiries on equipment repairs
Assist in determination of needed repairs and the timing of repairs
Research information from literature and computer based sources
Assign and schedule equipment and personnel to shop repairs
Other functions as assigned by necessity
This position may perform any combination of the following duties:
Assess employee performance and provide guidance or recommend training needed to reach and maintain acceptable performance level
Foster good employee/management relations
Decide upon and administer employee discipline as required
Receive calls from customers on a daily basis concerning the price and schedule for machine repair or service, technical information, recognition of warranty contracts, equipment transportation needs, and other issues
Discuss complex repair diagnoses or procedures with Technical Communicators or other personnel within the company or with the manufacturer
Address equipment down time concerns through scheduling repairs at times most convenient to the customer
Utilize mainframe, personal computers, as well as literature sources such as pricing manuals, service manuals, parts books, service warranty guides, etc, to find information on invoices, work orders, parts availability, repair procedures, flat rate pricing, machine repair history, components under warranty coverage, and other similar information
Devise work schedules for repairs to be performed in the field which utilize available mechanics and service vehicles in the most cost efficient manner while taking into consideration parts availability and delivery schedules
Examine work orders, requisitions, service reports, claim forms, bills of lading, etc, for accuracy and by request of other departments, personnel or the customer; draft budget recommendations
Perform other work related duties as assigned
Degrees or Other Special Requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical repair procedures and their application to equipment repair
Thorough understanding of Company/contract practices and policies in relation to the direction of the work force
Significant talent in the direction and scheduling of persons, as well as those who supervise and support them, to achieve the highest possible degree of productivity
Considerable written and verbal communication skills for the conveyance of instructions
Working skills in computer applications in a Windows based environment to provide for continual improvement of department efficiency
Provide superior customer service and product support through management of all aspects of the service department

Maintain store equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, petroleum equipment and overall facility in good working order

The hourly pay range for this position in PA is $33.00 to $52.00, plus overtime eligible.
This role also includes fieldservice and lead generation incentive bonus plans, on-call pay, company fleet/car, training, and advancement opportunities. JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a FieldService Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients within the water treatment industry. You will leverage your mechanical and technical aptitude and relevant hands-on experience to resolve complex technical issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our field sales and service team!
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project professional image of the Company through positive attitude and punctual and reliable attendance.
Adhere to all Company policies, including safety and quality policies and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Keep vehicle in good operating condition and keep up with recommended maintenance as needed.
Follow all legal safety regulations, as well as procedures set forth by both Company and customers
Participate in delivery and installation of systems at customer sites
Work onsite at customer locations to provide routine, day-to-day service to determine water treatment program is operating within optimal ranges and document findings in detailed reports
Local travel is expected and ongoing; travel approximately 5% outside assigned region
Maintain professional and technical knowledge to provide sound water treatment recommendations to customers
Manage and place orders, track inventory and usage of product at each site, and serve as the general face of Apex to assigned customer base
Send service reports to Account Manager for each site visited
Send monthly rollup reports to Account Manager highlighting key points for each site
Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical and technical aptitude
Hands-on experience in industrial/commercial mechanical trades (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, facility maintenance, or related trade)
Ability and willingness to use a hands-on approach to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform technical repairs, such as pump rebuilds
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholders.
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability and willingness to physically provide service at customer facilities within a wide range of environments, including hot, loud industrial facilities as well as outdoor environments that may include exposure to sun, rain, wind, or other weather conditions
Commitment to supporting customers, which may include occasional availability after standard business hours (typically via phone) for urgent needs
Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a half-or full-face respirator
Minimal overnight travel may be required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Past work experience in technical service in industrial water treatment or specialty chemicals industry, including knowledge of water treatment systems, such as filtration, disinfection and chemical dosing
Working knowledge of cooling tower systems, steam generation, and chilled/hot/process water closed-loop systems
Past experience operating and supporting reverse osmosis and other equipment systems
Familiarity with water treatment industry regulations and standards
Advanced certifications or training in water treatment technologies
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant field of study

POSITION SUMMARY
The FSE position will be based out of Hanover, PA at our fully integrated facility. The position requires strong communication and leadership capabilities and includes overseeing equipment used to sort and package our products. The goal is to reduce shrink and optimize yield.
Requirements:
JOB OVERVIEW
Perform daily startups of our sorting and packaging equipment.
Carry out sorting and packaging equipment daily and weekly procedures.
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and basic service on sorting and packaging equipment.
Manage existing sorting programs during daily production, based on sorting process assessment activities.
Update sorting programs to maintain effective removal of defect product and foreign material.
Identify causes of basic sorting failures (equipment, signal and/or program related).
Manage interactions with sorter supplier, as it relates to PM and service visits, request for parts quotes etc.
Train machine operators on sorting and packaging equipment.
Stay in close cooperation with plant production team to maintain optimal product quality at all times.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including installation reports, maintenance logs, repair documentation, and personnel communications. Ensure that all service-related documentation is complete, organized, and up-to-date in accordance with SOP's.
Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing service activities, including adherence to relevant safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Strive for continuous improvement and assist in identifying opportunities to optimize processes.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns on sorting or packaging equipment utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and expertise to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Investigate and troubleshoot technical problems reported by personnel and develop effective solutions to restore equipment functionality.
Provide technical support and guidance regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sorting and packaging equipment. Address inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Adhere to quality assurance standards and protocols established by the equipment manufactures SOP's, ensuring that all service activities comply with company guidelines and industry regulations.
This position will occasionally require flexible hours including overtime, second shift, and possible weekends and holidays.
