The base hourly range for this position is: $24.81 - $27.65* *The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. UXO Technician I duties:
(a) Investigate for and identify MEC and MPPEH, including explosive residues in media (e.g., soil), buildings, and installed equipment.

(c) Excavate subsurface anomalies for identification.
(d) Move (e.g., consolidate) MEC within a munitions response site (MRS) or on an operational range after the UXOSO and SUXOS have jointly evaluated and documented the determination that the risk of movement is acceptable.
(e) Operate vehicles moving explosives or MPPEH on site. Individuals must be appropriately licensed for the class of vehicle being operated.
(f) Transport military munitions, commercial explosives, and MDEH that meets the criteria in Paragraphs 2.2.b.(1)(a) through (e) and has been determined safe for transport over public traffic routes (PTRs). Such munitions and explosives must be packaged in a manner that allows their safe transport and complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable federal and State laws and DoD policies. Only UXO determined to be safe for transport by EOD personnel may be transported over a PTR.
(g) Prepare electric and non-electric firing systems.
(h) Set up decontamination stations and decontaminate CA-contaminated personnel, military munitions, and other material of interest (e.g., munitions debris, glass vials) in accordance with approved plans. Performing these functions may require additional training.
(i) Assist UXOQP in documenting the explosives safety status of MPPEH.
(j) Construct engineering controls (protective works).

The Opportunity
The Vegetation Technician I is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company's cultivation operation from propagation to flower production. Essential functions include, but are not limited to, assisting the Vegetation Lead in various ways such as cleaning, cloning, transplanting, IPM applications, pruning of plants, planting and resetting rooms as well as various miscellaneous tasks that fall under the day-to-day management of our gardens and their various individual departments.

This position will be responsible for following ALL Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as they relate to various aspects of our cultivation and to maintain compliance within our facility at all times. Vegetation Technicians will be responsible for many key day-to-day tasks that keep our facility operating smoothly and our production cycle on schedule. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Vegetation Specific Tasks:
Cloning:
Taking cuts at right the right placement on the plant and correct placement in Rockwool matter as well as following cleanliness procedures to prep clone trays to EV standards. Consistently checking water, root development, and plant health levels of the plant daily on a daily basis.
Plant Health:
Able to identify hop latency, and variegation. In addition to identification, understanding process to maintaining good plant health.
Nutrient Check:
Understand how to check PPMS, EC, and Ph using blue lab meters
Facility & Equipment Sanitation:
Understand and abide by EV sanitation protocols which include disinfection of equipment and trays on a daily basis as well as proper use of PPE when needed
Transplants:
Understand the process to transplant clones to 1-gallon pots and ability to identify structured plants and prepare them for the flower room
Hand Watering:
Ability to distribute the correct amount of water based on plant health and needs on a timely basis
Plant Identification:
Ensure all plants are colored tagged and labeled correctly
Basic Cultivation Tasks:
Assist with the facilitation of all vegetation operations including Daily Activities, Quality Assurance, Potting, Manicuring, as well as assuring compliance with local, state, and federal licensing requirements.
Follow all safety protocols and policies; demonstrate commitment to safety first; communicate safety concerns; promote a safe work environment based on established safety standards and training.
General cleaning duties, e.g., scrubbing and sanitizing trays in propagation room, veg room and various flowering rooms; cleaning miscellaneous growing equipment to maintain protocols; transferring plants from one stage to the next; de-fanning plants, removing waste, weighing & tracking plant waste.
Mops up spills, leaks and ensures safety signs are in place to caution employees on wet floors, oily surfaces, and other occupational hazards as soon as they are noticed.
Aid in completing general plant maintenance while the following company standard operating practices. This includes the following but is not limited to, canopy maintenance, topping, de-leafing of plants in various stages of growth.
Follow guidelines in regards to the production of cuttings/clones
Complete application of all IPM programs in accordance with SOP's while maintaining proper safety protocols
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at appropriate times as this position may be exposed to splash hazards, high temperatures, and chemicals.
Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as information sharing.
Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.

Creates phones, accounts, ACD lines, runs reports, monitors phone system performance, escalates issues related to phone system to external vendor and gets them fixed. Able to restart the telephone system components in the correct order promptly. Creates and maintains the documentation necessary for the phone system changes and upkeep.
Researches software for IT and other departments.
Accesses software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the internet to aid in problem resolution.
Identifies and learns appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
Documents all operations procedures related to daily operations, telephone systems, and network, and updates the documentation as changes occur. Assists in documenting network and systems policies and procedures.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Periodically works with IT staff on assigned projects.
Serves as back-up to the Report Administrator responsible for running various routine HP jobs, reports, and check runs.
Periodically provides additional support for A/V conferences and set-up.
Available by cell phone to assist in coordination of IT outages 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's technical degree preferred; candidate must have worked in IT environment for at least five (5) years in a similar capacity. Familiarity with healthcare IT is a big plus. Working knowledge and troubleshooting experience in Windows (2008/2007/XP) desktop environments, LAN connectivity, MS Office, Outlook, Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, spyware/malware are a must. Prior working experience in Active Directory, Exchange 2013/2010 environment, DHCP/DNS, VDI (Citrix Xen desktop or VMWare) are a big plus, not a mandate.
Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications
COMTIA A+, MCDST, or other equivalent desktop tech certification is required currently or within six (6) months of hire. Highly proficient in learning new hardware and application software. Detail oriented and strong in analytical and interpersonal skills. Valid California driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance compliant with PHC policy are required to operate a vehicle and travel for company business.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organization of time and tasks, with ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines. Ability to work under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment. Diplomacy and tact in handling user software and PC problems. Work Environment And Physical Demands
Ability to use a computer keyboard. Hours are typically 8 am to 5 pm. More than 50% of work time is spent in front of a computer monitor. When required, ability to move, carry, or lift objects of varying size, weighing up to 35 lbs.

We currently operate two indoor cultivation facilities that represent over 110,000 square feet. Additionally, we are constructing a purpose-built 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, where we will centralize processing, packaging, distribution, and manufacturing.
The Opportunity
The Cultivation Technicians are responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company's cultivation operation from propagation to harvest. Essential functions include but are not limited to, assisting the Cultivation Manager in various ways such as cleaning, cloning, transplanting, IPM applications, pruning plants, planting and resetting rooms as well as various miscellaneous tasks that fall under the day-to-day management of our gardens and their various individual departments.
Under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager, you will ensure that the facility is kept safe and compliant with OSHA standards as well as all state and local regulations at all times. This position will be responsible for following ALL Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as they relate to various aspects of our cultivation and maintaining compliance within our facility at all times. Cultivation Technicians will be responsible for many key day-to-day tasks that keep our facility operating smoothly and our production cycle on schedule.
Having a positive mindset, a capacity to problem-solve, as well as a team-first attitude is critical.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
These include, but are not limited to, the following (other duties may be assigned):
General cleaning duties, e.g., scrubbing and sanitizing trays in propagation room, veg room, and various flowering rooms; cleaning miscellaneous growing equipment to maintain protocols; transferring plants from one stage to the next; de-leafing plants, removing waste, weighing & tracking plant waste.
Assist with the coordination of all growth operations including: Daily Activities, Quality Assurance, Potting, Manicuring, Harvesting, and pruning as well as assuring compliance with local, state, and federal licensing requirements.
Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as information sharing.
Inventory procedures as they relate to proper plant counts, tracking information for inventory to ensure that our facility is always operating in compliance.
Mop up spills, leaks and ensuring safety signs are in place to caution employees on wet floors, oily surfaces, and other occupational hazards as soon as they are noticed.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at appropriate times as this position may be exposed to splash hazards, high temperatures, and chemicals. Complete training will be provided upon hiring.
Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties.
Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
Complies with safety requirements at all times.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus, and have the ability to walk on uneven terrain.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and balance up to 75 lbs. (125 lbs. with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to herbal aromas, dust, and/or airborne particles.
