Christopher Coscia is deputy scout executive and COO, Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America.

The Greater New York Councils (GNYC) Boy Scouts of America (BSA) serves New York's five boroughs. GNYC has helped over five million young men and women become "Prepared for Life" since its' inception in the 1920's. Throughout New York City there are more than 46,000 Scouts and Explorers, 4,200 active volunteer leaders and 800 scouting community partners. Programs foster healthy lifestyles, community service, environmental stewardship, workforce preparedness, leadership development and STEM education.

Chris has primarily responsibility for oversees enrollment, volunteer recruitment and program enhancement for almost 46,000 children and more than 4,000 adults actively participating in New York Scouting programs.

For over eighteen years, Chris has held several leadership roles in the council and has been instrumental in growing the scouting program

Chris is a native of Queens and a graduate of St. Francis College with a bachelor degree in business management. He is active in the New York Rotary. Chris is an avid runner and still works in time for golf in his free time.
