Essential Functions: IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems. Support virtual environments using VMware and Hyper-V Support of disaster recovery solutions. Technical support at the network level: LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, Server Operating Systems, and security. Qualifications 2 or 4-year degree - OR - relevant experience in IT support field 2 years of IT support or related technical experience Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, cloud products, and network systems Understand basics of Microsoft Active Directory Have a working knowledge of NTF permissions, file sharing, and IPV4 subnetting Understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Office 365 deployment In-depth understanding of desktop operating systems Windows 7 and 10 Additional Information Not only do we want you to have solid technical skills and an understanding of how technology is used to provide services, we also want great interpersonal skills.
