Responsible for performing routine radiographic exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting in accordance with established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic images, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to the overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills. Work requires a High School diploma. Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. ARRT required within twelve months of working in that modality or prior to ACR re-accreditation date. State of New Jersey licensure required. Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth experience-based knowledge. Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned/identified as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift. Qualifications Education and Work Experience 1. State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required 2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required 4. 2 years experience as an RCP preferred. 5. ACLS certificate within 60 day of hire and maintain current. 6. NRP certificate preferred 7. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. 8. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred 9. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Pay Transparency Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $47.22 to $47.22. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
