Definition: Daily, onsite review of all trades with specific oversight on: - Quality Control - Proper execution of plans - Daily and weekly schedules - Ethics - Safety control of job site and subcontractors - Schedule and man City Inspections as needed - Communicate and relay issues/questions from the site to the Project Manager - Daily tasks to ensure job site runs smoothly - Manage and coordinate the execution of work by subcontractors to eliminate un-approved changes. Site Superintendents will work in direct contact with sub-contractors and clients and will be expected to be able to correctly interpret and convey the information in the Construction Documents to all appropriate parties. Site Superintendents will work directly under Project Managers are required to be able to clearly communicate, in detail and with efficiency, all aspects of the project through the Construction Documents. Site Superintendents are required to be familiar (and able to locate, interpret and convey clearly) with all details, floorplans, elevations, and information provided in all Construction Documents and/or Design intent documents. Site Superintendents are expected to ensure the project is maintaining its daily and weekly scheduling goals and to recognize and report issues with staffing, sub-contractors, and vendors to the Project Manager. Site Supervisors are expected to manage sub-contractors with the utmost respect while still ensuring the Project schedule and budget are kept at the forefront. Site Supervisors are expected to understand the basics of each trade and to be able to work with Sub Contractors to solve onsite issues allowing for clear communication and flow of projects. Any issues that would arise the Site Super is expected to be able to clearly communicate them to the Project Manager. Site Superintendents are expected to stay active and work to ensure that each sub-contractor has the correct information to do his job efficiently. Site Superintendents are expected to work diligently to provide answers to sub-contractors in any manner required. Site Superintendents are expected to return calls from Sub Contractors as quickly and promptly as possible to ensure efficient and clear communication.
