Duties and Responsibilities
Coordination & Operational Support
Provide high-level administrative and operational support to attorneys within the practice group.
Manage workflows, track deadlines, and align priorities across multiple projects.
Partner with legal secretaries, paralegals, and other staff to ensure seamless operations.
Anticipate attorney and client needs, taking initiative to resolve issues and enhance efficiency.
Communications & Calendar Management
Maintain attorney calendars, schedule internal/external meetings, and coordinate logistics.
Screen and prioritize emails and calls; draft correspondence where appropriate.
Prepare attorneys for meetings by compiling materials, agendas, and background documents.
Liaise professionally with high-profile clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
Accounting & Billing
Support billing processes, including time entry, review of proformas, and submission of invoices.
Track budgets, prepare financial summaries, and monitor client billing arrangements.
Coordinate with Accounting on utilization reports and compliance with engagement terms.
Assist with new matter intake forms and conflict checks.
Travel Arrangements
Coordinate domestic and international travel (flights, accommodations, itineraries, visas).
Proactively resolve last-minute changes with urgency and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities
Receive and manage traditional mail and e-mail from the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of International Affairs (OIA) and United States Attorney Offices (AUSAs) throughout the U.S., ISPs, and FBI Field Offices; this correspondence contains legal documents, electronic production returns from ISPs, and FBI documents from the field offices.
Collaborate with FBI employees and DOJ-OIA employees, daily.
Review foreign and domestic legal documents to identify tasking for the FBI.
Perform analysis and de-confliction utilizing multiple FBI internal databases and systems.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and cases.

Investigations and Law Enforcement Development Interns and Fellows support IJM staff in liaising with local law enforcement officials to ensure that they intervene to rescue identified victims and arrest and charge the identified perpetrators. Depending on your level of experience, your role may involve some of the following responsibilities as well as other relevant duties assigned by the Field Office Director or Supervisor.
Assist with writing and editing reports of investigation activities;
Organize and track progress of ongoing operations, including the operation stage and expenses incurred for each operation;
Create intelligence reports that organize and analyze data;
Maintain department databases and files;
Assist in the development of protocols, procedures and best practices for the Investigations department;
Assist with organizing, administering and documenting ongoing training in Investigations;
