Acts as Roving Crew Supervisor in his/her absence. Working with contractors in the performance of their duties. Making recommendations to the Roving Crew Supervisor regarding major maintenance work on facilities. Promoting the Park District through public contact. Overseeing the maintenance of vehicles and equipment assigned to Roving Crew; ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment; ordering parts; arranging for repairs with outside service companies; recommending purchases of new equipment; performing complex or unusual repairs on equipment as necessary. Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in construction or related field preferred and considerable experience in the construction field including some supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
