The Assistant ProjectManager is an entry-level projectmanagement position and is expected to learn and develop competency in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities. In addition, the APM is responsible for providing administrative and construction support for our ProjectManagement team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Manageproject documentation, including submittals, RFIs, (Return for Information), and meeting minutes.
Oversee project activities as assigned by the ProjectManager, including planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures, and standards are maintained, etc.
Maintain change orders, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs. Prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
Responsible for contract submittals that are accurate and timely.
Responsible for creating and issuing the Subcontractors' contracts.
Responsible for the assembly and timely delivery of the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Ensure that the project quality control plan is followed.
Interacts with subcontractors to ensure we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date.
Attend company/project meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc., and provide projectmanagement support
Cooperate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility.
Monitor other contractors' activities and progress.
Responsible for creating the Job Information Sheets and establishing Job Files.
Prepares price change orders and project reports and documentation.
Works with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of this position is to plan, supervise, and coordinate comprehensive offering of sports, athletics, community education, senior programming, special events, field scheduling and other general programming functions to address the recreation and leisure needs of the entire community. Work requires considerable coordination with the Parks and Recreation Administration Division, the Parks Division, the Harward Recreation Center Division, and other City of Nampa Departments. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Parks and Recreation Director, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. Supervision is exercised over the work of full-time, part-time, seasonal employees and volunteers. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the assigned supervisor, City employees, City officials, parent organizations and the general public. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office and outdoor recreational environment. This position does not have oversight of the Harward Recreation Center operations but must work closely with the Harward Recreation Center Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Develops new recreation programs for all age groups and reviews current programs for their effectiveness and interest.
* Oversees planning and organization of tours for seniors, adults, and children.
* Schedules athletic fields and facilities for department use and handle permit process for outside interests.
* Supervises youth and adult programs at community parks, schools, playgrounds, and other recreational sites.

This position is eligible for RH2's performance bonus, which is equivalent to one month's pay. The bonus is paid mid-year at 50% and year-end at 50%.

RPM's work with owners and sub-contractors after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a RPM, you will manage the renovation, as well as control and communicate the budget effectively. This means you will spend a good deal of time in the field to see your projects get completed properly.

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in construction field
Construction projectmanagement experience is preferred, however, if experience is limited and you meet all qualifications, we will invest in your training!

* Track metrics during bi-weekly Goal Setting & Review session
* Confirm budget and work orders before start of project.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations.

* Seek partnerships to improve performance with vendors and tradesman.
